Cucina Di Pesce
Posted by Anonymous on 04/21/2006
I have wanted to try Cucina Di Pesce for a while because of seeing their menu on this website and noting they had pumpkin ravioli; everything, however, was delicious. The waiters were very nice and attentive, and whether they forgot or were being extra nice, we got a free tiramisu. Definitely get the pumpkin ravioli, but the spinach salad and spinach ravioli were great too.

Cheap Italian seafood restaurant. Nothing to write home about. Front room has more energy than the back room, which was somewhat dead. Service was okay. My bass was just okay, though I kind of expected it to be better, based on some other reviews. Other people in my party liked the food, though. So mixed reviews all around.

The food was top notch; i got the sea bass and my guest had the seafood fettucine. The service was outstanding, the tiramisu was HUGE and delicious. The wine list was extensive and very reasonable (20-30 for a bottle). The only complaint I could find was that the bread was not so fresh. I will be returning in the future.

This place is wonderful. It is truly my favorite find in NYC. The food is delicious, large portions, and so very reasonable! (My favorite dish is sundried tomato & gorgonzola fusilli pasta...to die for!) Cozy atmosphere and free mussels at the bar while you wait for your food. More bang for your buck at this place - a great choice to take out of towners if you dont want to spend a lot and also be in the trendy East Village.

All over, it was a memorable evening. We were greeted with a warm smile .We sat next to the fire place in the skylit room. The wine selection was great, the black linguini with shrimp & asparagus, the steak and the spinach salad were yummy. The desserts were irresistible. What a great birthday that was!

My boyfriend and I ordered in after reading several highly rated review and were extremely disappointed. The calamari was cold and rubbery, the caesar salad consisted of a few pieces of lettuce with dressing and the sicilian lasagna my boyfriend ordered was barely inedible. Also took a long time to get here and i live 3 blocks away. Needless to say we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Great little place in the EV. Gotta go with the seafood lasagna. Service was excellent as well. We will be Back...
