Food Quality and Service Fall Short
The location is convenient and you can breeze through and pick up a quick so-so lunch. But the cashiers barely speak to you, NEVER say thank you and basically want you to push the person in front of you out of the way. Plus a small plastic clamshell of fresh fruit from their cold bar can cost you up to $12. But they also charge you for butter to go with a muffin you have already paid for.

Good for informal get-togethers!
Five of us have met at Cucina bi-monthly for over eight years for bookclub meetings. That says something positive: On balance, the location-price-quality-quantity-service-atmosphere ratio is good.

Delicious Gourmet Cafe
Cucina & Co. is great for a quick lunch or sit down meal. Its fresh ingredients and unique variety set it apart from those other run-of-the-mill nyc cafes. The dinner for two special is an amazing deal - a three course meal for two people for $24.95! Paninis, soups and pastries are also top notch. Definitely worth visiting.

If it's Coffee You Love ...Go Elsewhere
The coffee at Cucina Grand Central had always been (well in the last few yrs or so, ), pretty good. However, in the last few months ... gone downhill,,, if you want water ..drink the coffee (not much difference),, alas, perhaps mgmt saves pennies ...yet a long time customer(s)....lost...gone for good coffee, elsewhere.

Best Deal in Town
Dinner for Two! 24.95 gets you a complete Salmon or Chicken dinner for two. Love the candles and the ambiance. Check out the Tuscan Brick ceiling.
