Tone down version of the 22 street great venue. They are trying hard and quite solicitous. Good buzz. Food is good, not out prior levels. Main courses not interesting, pasta good not great, appetizers nice but not great, bread off. Good wine list with not good recco.

Went here on a recent week night. Cool spot, with out trying to hard. Meaning it just feels like a nice mix of casual and chic. So it is new and they still are getting their act together, that is probably why i didn't give it 5's across the board. I will have to go back to see. But anyway, Ravioli - amazing. Beet Salad - crisp, Scallops - my personal favorite. Brussel sprouts side also memorable. Wasnt totally blown away with dessert, but only tried one. There is also a cute little wine cellar private dining room downstairs. We need a place like this on the UES. I like that it is not on the avenue, has an intimacy about it. hope this helps. JS
