We remembered when Pa usta bring us here when we were little children all the way from Park Slope Brooklyn. It was a nice ride crossing over the Manhattan Bridge! we could'nt wait to sink our teeth into a nice hot Alcapurrria and El Relleno De Papa accompanied with Un Refresco de Mavi, Tamarindo or Uva :) mmmm..Now 35 years later and with our own families we still crave the taste and always manage to make it to 116th Street while on vacation all the way from San Diego & Florida!! And before boarding our flights back home we take something for the ride ;) We've shared the flavors of our Latin Culture with our children and hope they can do the same. This place is small and humble and your always treated like family. The aroma alone takes you back to those days in the 70's..Hot & fresh any day everyday..

I have been coming to this place since I was a little girl. My Grandmother and Dad lived in the barrio back in the 1960's. I still live in Harlem and when my siblings come to visit from down south we go there to eat and talk about the old times.
