    Great place

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here. I think it's a really good place. I've been ordering delivery from them for years and it's always been delicious.

    Where is the cuban flavor?

Very dissapointing. Since when does ceviche stand for shrimp doused in mayonaisse- if I wanted shrimp salad I would have ordered that! Everything needed salt including the Ropa Viejo, the rice, and even the empanadas. The beans were bitter which was probably due to their being overcooked! The only thing I liked was the empanadas but my husband said that they were too greasy - like the meat and even the bean salad! Will not waste my time here- to many other good places in the neighborhood.

Like the food but it's LOUD

I've been here numerous times for brunch and dinner. I like the food - it's not great but good for the price. There are certain dishes that stand out among the rest. The seafood stuffed poblano chile is really good. The beans are not good. My number one complaint is that the play the musis WAY to loud. And it's louder in the bathroom. One time it was so loud in the bathroom my ears hurt. It kinda felt like the staff was trying to turn tables quickly by keeping the music so loud. I agree with the other reviewers about the waitress like I said I've been there numerous times and the waitress is a drag on the place. She is always on the phone and getting her attention is difficult. I will continue to go back b/c I do like the food and it's cheap but improvements need to be made.

    Real talk...skip this place

if you want cuban food and can pass on the hard liquor, go to the place a few blocks down on smith next to the deli. this place used to be good and kinda fun. and the food was good. but that was like three years ago. service totally sucks, multiple times. food is so so and overpriced. do yourself a favor, don't go. You'll be glad.

    Ha, 7 blocks!?

I called for a delivery to my apartment 5 blocks from Cubana Cafe on a Wednesday night and they hung-up on me. I couldn't believe it, so I called back to tell them they could walk to my door in less than 10 minutes. begrudgingly they agreed. My food arrived in record time (probably because of my close proximity), but it was someone else's order.

    Terrible Staff

The food, while not incredible, is of decent value. The staff however is poor. I like 7 blocks away from the restaurant and they did not agree to deliver to my apartment becasue they were "busy". even though i was in the delivery area. We need a better Cuban place in Cobble Hill
