    Good Food

I had the chicken soup. Wonderful! All kinds of ingredients. My friend had the pancakes. Again, delicious! My other friend had eggs florentine. He loved it. No complaints about the food. Atmosphere is interesting, especially the painting of the women with cigars. Not a fancy place, somewhat informal. I was happy there.

    Great, cheap eats

Cubana Cafe is adorable. The food is delicious, the ambience is lively, and your meal is served in mere minutes (even when the restaurant is packed)! A must-see on Smith st.

i craved this place today. it rocks! awesome pork quesadillas, and kickass cuban sandwiches.

i ate there once, and i just got delivery tonight. i do not go here looking for fresh, exotic cuisine. i go here because they have yummy, cheesy cuban foods that i crave once in a while. if you are like me, ignore those bad reviews, and try this place. I really like it. Occasionally try the empanadas, they are always different, and really nice and hot. my favorite thing altogether is the pork quesadilla with cheese and onions. (be sure to order the one i said, and not the other pork quesadilla on the menu) bye!

    Not so flavorful

Unfortunately, some of the earlier reviews are correct. The food is a bit bland in comparison to other Cuban restuarants. I ordered a mango chicken dish and the chicken was DRY and not seasoned well. My date also ordered a chicken dish that was just as bland. The only thing that had any taste was the plaintain chips. There could be other items on the menu that are flavorful, but I was not impressed enough to plan a return.

Don't listen to the other reviewers- this place is great

I really don't understand what these people are talking about. I've been this this restaurant about 6 times in the past month and their food is always great! I'm puerto rican and used to great flavor and this place definitely cooks with serious flavor! Give it a try- its nice and cheap, so you really have nothing to loose. The only negative thing you can say about this place is that is sooooo small.. other than that- its a keeper!

    Most unfortunate

If you like cuban food without flavor or authenticity, boy is this place for you!
