    Great value in soho

The food's not fancy, but it's very good and reasonably priced for soho.

    Poor delivery experience

The lady said 20 mins, it took over an hour.I could deal with that if the food was good. The corn was unappetizing, it was undercooked and laughable in comparison to other establishments. The filetillo (hanger steak) wasn't bad but the portion was tiny. To call it a plato grande is absurd. The pureed plaintains was disappointing. The flan was good, the only properly executed thing I ordered. For 30+ after tip, that was a complete waste of time

    impolite

I called and asked them if they deliver to Hudson and Bleeker. When they said yes, I gave them my order. After I was finished giving my order, they told me they dont deliver to hudson and bleeker! Get it together people! They then got very rude and hung up on me. Very rude!

I paid too much for my Salad

More Dressing Maybe. The pieces of Avocado and Shrimp on my plate of salad were teeny-tiny. They should charge less for the Avocado-Shrimp Salad I ordered

It's like a clown car of tables in there

This restaurant is absolutely crammed with micro-mini tables. I think they would have tables on the ceiling above the regular tables if they could find a way, it's that cramped. It wasn't crowded when I was there around 6pm, but if the place was busy it must be an awful dining experience. The food was pretty good and the prices are fairly reasonable for the area. But I would suggest going elswhere during prime dinner and lunch times unless you want to get uncomfortably up-close and personal with the stranger next to you.

    Assume everyone is a patron

My friend and I stumbled upon this spot by accident when the rain began to pour. It was a very cute kitschy spot. The problem is that we were not the employees' friends. We sat down at the bar and were completely ignored! The servers waited on their friends. finally, I asked for a menu and ordered some food. As we waited and sipped on our drinks, our food was promptly given to their friends! I was completely horrified! They completely assumed we were just there to sip on water! Mind you, we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees! We FINALLY got our food - the seafood ceviche was good, the chicken quesadillas was ok (but that's really not hard to mess up). We were never asked for refills on our drinks. Mind you, we are good patrons to the food and spirits god. It was a completely horrifying experience. I guess the only good thing was - that friend that they waited on the entire time, well, he left without even paying.

    Pretty Authentic Cuban Food... Unless...

If you want a Quesadilla don't eat it here... Quesadillas are MEXICAN for anyone who is uneducated about different spanish cultures. If you want truly authentic Cuban food try the Cuban sandwich, Picadillo, Arroz con Pollo, Ropa Vieja because these are true Cuban dishes... not quesadillas. I think next time I want jumbalaya, I'm going to go to McDonald's... If that doesn't make sense, don't order a quesadilla at a Cuban restaurant. Duh. I would rate this a 5 if it was my mom's house... that's the only place that beats it :) Enjoy!
