After reading all the reviews I had to post mine. This place is amazing, the food is great! I've gone several times and always been impressed. The waiters are super friendly (most of them are big happy cuban men - ha!) and the atmosphere is great. I've only ever gotten wine so I can't comment on the drinks, but the price is right for what you get. If you're looking for super strong cocktails and high end cuisine, this may not be the place as you're not paying $50 a person. However, if you're looking for some good food with Cuban influence and a great atmosphere, this is the place! Enjoy! I will be back.

The service was amazing and the server was attentive and not pushy. This was my second time and will become a stopover on my trips to New York. The atmosphere was lively and the music tied in to the whole experience. Thanks for topping off a great weekend in New York!

The first time a colleague and I accidently found this place. The happy hour very good, variety of food and the music was great. Now the second time we went back, had a table order appetizers, but found them very small portion. Now the Happy hour is 5pm to 7pm. We order our last round at 6:57pm and they did not want to put the order in at happy hour rates. Did not like that - you must stick to your hours.

To be fair we did have it delivered. But the food was just simply not good. It was not inedible but I would not ever order from there again which is as good a guide as any. I would avoid Cuba Cafe

service: great food: great drinks: great i've been to many cuban restaurants, a few actually IN cuba, and tostones w/ garlic mojo has always been one of my favorite dishes. i'm a huge fan of havana central but cc is much closer to me and its a mighty fine restaurant. the staff is friendly and fun (the manager's my new best friend). now, that and the fact that i know a bartender there might sway me a little bit, but the decor is beatiful too. kinda reminds me of hc in the wannabecubaness of it, but still nice. i went in to just pick up an order of tostones and have a beer while i waited but since it's almost completely open air when they pull up the garage-door thing i suddenly needed to stay once a barstool opened up for me. it's got a great vibe- the music and the summer breeze and the tostones and the drinks made it a great experience. happy hour is a great deal too!

I met a friend at macy's and we walked south to find a place to eat. Came upon Cuba Cafe by chance and went in with pretty low expectations. We were VERY pleasantly surprised! I had the shrimp with pina and she had the pork chops, and we both LOVED our meals. The margaritas were good, and the desserts were pretty delicious too. The service was good, though not pushy, and we really enjoyed our meal. The music was a bit loud, and it was a little expensive for the portion size, but other than that we were very satisfied.

I went with some co-workers...it was great! The food, the atmosphere, the music, the drinks. Great! really cool place to hang out with your family and friends.
