crumbs the best
I was in Manhattan in December 2011 with my fiancee . We decided to pop into Crumbs to have something sweet we had never heard of them and was simply there by accident. well its the best accident that we ever had. I tried the red velvet cup cakes and ended up buying one of the full size red velvet cakes its was delicious. Subsequent to this I live and work in the far east and every time my fiance comes to visit in Singapore i have her pick up a six pack of cupcakes from Crumbs. Its not doing my waistline any good but just the mere thought of digging into one of their o so delicious cakes brings a smile to my face. its gotten to the point where my fiance thinks I am more interested in the cakes than seeing her when she comes in.

I Love the tasting sized cupcakes
A lot of people have been saying that the cake in the huge sized cupcakes is stale, the cupcakes are too big, etc...which I can't comment on because I've never had one (they're the size of my head, how they sell those to anybody is beyond me). But I have had the "Tasting Size" boxes of 12 tiny, 2-bite-sized cupcakes. They are not only adorable but are so fresh and moist and delicious. Maybe the big ones are just too big to be fresh/good, but the little ones are the perfect size and you can have 3 and still not feel fat, plus you can have several flavors and not have to throw any away. So in short, I recommend getting the tasting boxes, you'll be addicted!

Overrated Cupcakes
I heard so much about CRUMBS CUPCAKES but found them to be tastless and dried out. Like everything else once you expand, the quality is no longer there (if it ever was, I wouldn't know)especially at the prices they charge. I would not go back to CRUMBS--they were crummy.

disappointment
Cupcakes look the part but don't deliver. Both the cupcakes I tried were stale. Red Velvet and the Tony Hawke. Cost $7.50 and most of them wound up in the garbage. Don't recommend.

Great cupcakes
I am not a cupcake lover but my kids always want to try new cupcakes. I was passing through their location on 14 street and decided to get half a dozen for me and the kids. All I can say is WOW these were the best cupcakes I have tried. My favorite was the reeses cupcake.

Frozen!
I work at a bakery in Dallas, and I was extremely disappointed to discover that crumbs cupcakes had clearly been frozen (probably for a while), and the cake was therefore not fresh at all! it was dried out and the chocolate cake was absolutely tasteless! You'd think for those prices, the quality would be fresher at least.

Stale Stale Stale
More than once I have purchased cupcakes and cookies from Crumbs on the upper eastside and 42nd Street locations only to find they are so stale and dried out to be uneatable. Beware of the good looks of these products they hide bad taste.
