A superior cupcake
the cupcakes at Crumb's are ten times better than the Magnolias. The cake is fresh, and the frosting more refined

Yummy cookies and cake too!
In addition to cupcakes, Crumbs has decent cakes and cookies. The Princess cake is good and the sugar cookies are excellent (especially when freshly baked). Stay away from the iced tea.

Yup, better than magnolia
Lived next to magnolia for three years. One Crumbs cupcake experience was all it took to dethrone Magnolia. Wow.

These are the best cupcakes in NYC!
Don't believe what the guy below says about Magnolia cupcakes being better. These are the best in NYC! Big and fluffy with amazing frosting - even some have FILLING! - and not too expensive. Wide variety of flavors make you want to go back and try them all! Convenient location near the subway for those coming from downtown, nice staff and little tables make this a great place to go after dinner for a treat!

Really good, but Magnolia may be better
After being on a no carb diet for a few weeks, breaking it at Crumbs was great, but the actual cake part of the cupcake was a bit lacking, but 2 thumbs up for the icing! The Boston Cream cupcake also lacked some boston cream. Terrific Snickers cookie as well. Will definitely go back.

They're Right About the Cupcakes...
All the previous reviews raved about the cupcakes, which I was skeptical about, but I must say they are truly amazing! I would go so far as to say that they're better than Magnolia's. The only thing I didn't like was the iced tea, it tastes like penicillin. Oh, and they need to dim the lights. But the desserts are phenomenal!

So worth it
Crumbs on third is an adorable little bakeshop with the most welcoming staff and the most beautiful presentation. The cupcakes and cakes are decadent and delicious. Try the mint hot chocolate too! yumyum
