They look better than they taste
Overloaded with sugar. The pastry itself is not as good as people make it out to be. After 2 or 3 bites, the sugar gets to be too much.

Thought I was going to get diabetes...
After reading all the rave reviews, I was really excited about going to Crumbs. However, my friends and I were floored by how sweet the cupcakes were. We are all fans of baked goods but this was way too much sugar... And we each had different cupcakes so it wasn't just 1 flavor. Other than that, the service and bakery itself were quite pleasant.

They're just alright
The cupcakes aren't really good. The titles get you excited, but it's really just the icing that looks pretty. They are just to bland. Not sweet at all. All the cupcakes taste the same. The icing is the only thing different on them.

YUMMY CUPCAKES
These cupcakes are soooo good...My favorites are the reeses peanutbutter and cookie dough...I cannot wait to try all of them.....so delicious

just okay
I don't think the cupcakes are anything special and I have tried almost all of them ! Not as moist as others. Just because they have alot of stuff on top doesn't mean they're good.

tastes like a normal cupcake, not sure what the big deal is. plus its really fattening. at least 700 calories per cake.

Awesome Cupcakes
I live around the corner from this place and LOVE these cupcakes! You don't have the brutal wait of some of the other cupcake places in the city - the service is friendly and efficient, but the place is small so I'd take it to go for a dessert to enjoy at home. I've tried a bunch but The Hostess is definitely my favorite!
