Wings and Beer and Mussels!!
Their wings are delicious! Their wings are big! Variety of flavours. 10 - 20 cents per wing is an AMAZING deal. A great beer selection! The Mussels are first class. I haven't had much from the rest of their menu... with wings and mussels and beer why deviate? The place is small but cozy - kind of a "gothic" sports bar. Several tables, can accommodate big parties, bar seating and lounge seating. They do a lot business and get busy, I recommend arrive early. I recently moved out of New York and I make sure to come back to Croxely's Ales every time I am home - 4 to 5 times a year. Haven't been to the other locations.

Very Bad Delivery
By all means go to Croxley's but don't order delivery. It always takes forever, the last time I ordered it took 2 hours! Kept getting the, "It's on it's way." every time I called. Not worth it.

Good food, mediocre service
First of all, you can't beat the 10 cent wing deal on monday and wednesday. Worth every penny and the wings are decent. My biggest complaint is the service. The hostess was pretty impatient with my friends and I. Other than that, good wings and excellent beer selection.

not the same
The wings and the croxley blonde ale are the best deals at this local joint that originated in Long Island. I have to say I was disappointed the other night at the Ave. B location. I ordered the Croxley Classic grilled chicken sandwich( a item I've been ordering for 7 years) and to my surprised when it arrived to my table, it was tiny pieces of chicken "stir fry style" thrown on a hero. I asked the waiter where the cheese and mushrooms are and he said" oh, it's all "mixed in". I returned it and explained that I have been going there for 7 years and never had it served this way. I was told they changed the menu but agreed to make it as previous. Anyway, it was so ridiculously small that I didn't eat it. I understand times are tough and places are cutting back, but "chicken"?? C'mon..Anyway, I will go back but only for the 10 cent wing special on mondays and wednesday nights

Great place....when you can get in
I really like Croxley Ales. The beer [select]ion is good, the wings are great, and the staff are friendly. The only word of warning that I would give to others is that if you want to eat on the 10 cent wing nights, you need to arrive early. I've been here on two occasions where we've put our names on the wait list for a table and simply havent been able to get in. The last occasion we waited for nearly two hours (it was fine as we were drinking) but still didnt get a table. This isnt a criticism of the restaurant, obviously they cant do much about it. I guess the problem is that its a bar, not a restaurant. At a restaurant you eat, then you leave. At Croxley, you eat...and usually you hang out. As a result, tables can sometimes take a long time to free up. It's still a great place though. BBQ wings are my favourite.

BEST WINGS IN NYC
They come through everytime. Croxley's never fails. I crave their wings in my sleep. They come out piled high and hot! Service is good, not great. Atmosphere is awesome, wall to wall TVs covering every sport airing.
