My husband and I had brunch here today. We were sat down right away, the service was fast and super friendly. The food was excellent and an amazing deal, we both had the goat cheese omelets, my husband had a side of bacon and the prix fix special with bloody marys. He really liked the drink, said it was spicy and tasty. My only critique is that the omelet (goat cheese and tomato) and salad (greens and sun dried tomato) each could have used one more ingredient just to add a bit more variety and make them outstanding but they were yummy and the homefried potatoes were absolutely perfectly cooked, crispy and brown. The music was old R+B which i really enjoyed. It had a few police posters framed as wall decor which i thought was a cool touch as homage to Crown Vics as the classic cop car. I think it could use some more decoration actually but that could just be because it's new. They have lots of tables outside in the front and a HUGE back area with lots of seating if you just want to have a drink. I'm so happy to have another great brunch place for us southsiders! Someone needs to tell all those people waiting for 75 minutes at Egg!

$15 brunch on Saturday and Sundays from 12-5..and get this..it comes with not one, not two, but THREE drinks. Best deal in town, and the food is awesome. Their backyard is amazing also when the weather is nice..it's enormous and there are fun games and even a fire pit to sit by. It's kid friendly which is a big plus to families in the neighborhood. Def my weekend spot!

This new bar is pretty close to my apartment and I've been in for drinks in their crazy huge back yard a few times. decided to get some food last time and had the beer battered fish and chips. I thought it was excellent. tried my friend's pulled pork sandwich too and thought it was real good. overall, I'm glad these guys opened here, s2nd is becoming quite the foodie street.
