Overly Pretentious and Not Worth It

What happened to this place? Used to be a good place for lunch; but when the hostess can't seem to pull herself away from leaning on the podium to greet diners... Come on! You're not cheap, your diners deserve better. The burgers and steak meat was still good, but the rolls and buns were burned and the slaw was the worst.

    Pretty Good Lunch

Work down the street from this easy-to-walk-by place. Lunch is great if it's on a corp. card. Recommend the crab cakes to start and steak frites for entree. Not the best steak I've eaten in the city but they dress it up with blue cheese and butter.

    Surprisingly Good

I wasn't expecting the food here to be good. I went in there to meet up with friends for drinks and afterwards, we sat down to eat. The atmosphere is a little bit noisy but the food is excellent. The waitress was friendly and the service was good. I would definitely go back for dinner and drinks.

    Not worth anything

The food is boring and expensive (a horrible combination), the atmosphere is boring and loud (another bad combination), and I would never eat here if it weren't for the fact that there are so few restaraunts in the area. Don't bother to go out of your way to eat here.

High Decibel Level -- Decent Food!

Remember you are going to a "Tavern," thus, be reminded that --if you come to eat, rather than to drink--it will be very noisy! You must ask for the "pre-theatre" menu--as only the regular menu will be offered. My appetizer--mozzarella and tomatoes--was presented very nice; and the salmon entree was substantial with many vegetables as the accompaniment. Large quantities of sorbet/ice cream for dessert. Service mostly attentive until it got busy.

Nice place for food and friends

Food quality is excellent - their beef entrees are best followed by dessert concoctions...drink selection excellent . Never rushed out...nice decor inside...good spirits selection

    You will be completely satisfied!

My company always goes here for parties/get-togethers. Everytime we have been there the food has been really good and ambiance is great. Try the Buffalo chicken wrap, it is out of this world. The portions are really good and the food is tasty...
