    So good

Two words: So good. Sweet, fresh, tart, spicy, crunchy, tasty all in a sandwich all for the low, low price of 5 bucks. Not to mention the quick delivery. You really can't beat it.

    Halfway through my first sandwich

The other day I passed by this spot and it spun my head around: the cooler on the folding table, the line of people waiting outside, and the fact that I had never seen it before. I'm a "new place" -aholic, and not so much that the place itself has to be new, more that it's new to me. "Said, I have to try this place." Best decision ever! I'm halfway through my first Pesto Chicken sandwich on some delicious bread; which an employee helped me pick out after showing me what he had fresh. He paired the bread together with the chicken so perfectly that I can honestly say, I'm never going to another Deli in that area again, so long as I can eat at Crosby's. Yeah, it's that good!

    Can you say...amazing?

Top notch service. Effin' delicious sandwiches. Friendliest crew. Easy on the wallet. Need I say more?

I could kick myself for not going sooner

There's always a line, and I'm usually in a hurry, so I have passed this place by a million times. No more! I went today because there were only three people out front, and now I know I will gladly wait in a long line, even uphill in the snow! I ordered the Brie Avocado Dill and it was amazing. Both the Brie and Avocado were soft and ripe, the dill was so fresh I almost wept, and the combination of other ingredients and flavors complemented it perfectly. Top-notch bread, too. I can't believe I've been paying twice as much (this was only $5) for sandwiches that are less than half as good. I will be back when I'm in the mood for a sandwich. I'm full now, but I'm already thinking of trying the other stuff on the menu. : - ) Highly recommended!

    What service?

The food is great; the service not so much. The workers are nice, if slow (not in speed).

Honestly, I thought it was subpar

I paid 6 dollars for a tiny - perhaps 7.5 inch - Italian sub. There was very little meat and cheese - maybe 2 slices of each ingredient. Plus, the cuts were not propery distributed, so the ends were all bread. The taste was fine. Better than one of those fast-food sandwich chains, but no better than your average deli. I know three places on my block alone that make a better Italian sub. The service was slow. I went at 2:45 on a workday. I was the only one there. It still took them well over two minutes to even acknowledge me. In sum, decent taste, poor value. I can get a sandwich with 3 times the meat and 1.5 times the size for 5 bucks in Queens. Where's the beef and why the hype?
