    excellent by all means!

the crooked tree has been my favorite place to eat in new york for many years. not only are the waiters gorgeous young men, but they are also exceedingly polite, and quick about getting your food to you. not to mention that the food makes my tastebuds extatic. LONG LIVE THE TREE!!

    Always A Treat

I have been going to the The Crooked Tree for several years and have never been disappointed. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

    Best crepes ever!!

After my first time here I fell in love with this place! Soooo good food!!! It's a nice atmosphere and very friendly. Seems to be a little short of staff though, wich i expirenced mostly when i've tried to order delivery. To just order one thing on the menu doesn't make me full, but on the other hand once I get full, the food is so good I don't wanna stop eating!!

    cute place!

I found this place randomly while walking down st. marks.. it's a really cute place ideal for 2-3 people as the creperie is small. Great atmosphere for people just to chill and catch up on things. Highly recommend.

    Good food, great service!

I've been here 6 or 7 times and have never had a bad or even just a mediocre experience. I will admit I get the same thing every time so I can really only judge one meal ... the spinach crepes ... but they are to die for!! Whenever I have friends from out-of-town visiting we end up going here for lunch and they leave just as impressed as I am every time. Once, the cook even came over and randomly brought us free nutella desert, which I was surprised because they were so incredibly busy. Also, the Sangria they have is great and very strong, which to say the least is always good :) I suggest this place to anyone and will definitely continue going back. Also, its a really cheap place to have an amazing meal.

    Plain food, cute spot

Weirdly there are only 3 restaurants serving crepes (according to this website). After a craving, I went to this one and was sorely disappointed. The chicken & goat cheese crepe sounds good, but the chicken is sandwich meat and there was hardly any cheese. It was very dry and lacked taste. The dessert crepes were tasty, how can you go wrong with Nutella and Dulce de Leche? The atmosphere is cute, but there was only one waiter for all the tables and he had a lot of prep work to do, so the service was very slow once all the tables were full. The prices are good though and if you are hungry and don't want to spend a lot, this isn't the worst restaurant in NY.

    Great-ish

We stumbled upon what might be considered a hole in the wall a little while ago, and were dually impressed. The food was wonderful, and in my opinion, happen to be the best crepes in the city. The two drawbacks however, the fact they have an inconsistent operating hours, and kind of half interested service. Does the food make up for these two weak spots, yes; although I suppose they could decide to put decaffeinated coffee on the menu too. Who doesn't have decaffeinated coffee? In short, the food is great if they decide to open, but if decaff is the deal breaker, I suggest you try else where.
