    Definitely recommended

My friend and I were both very pleased with our meal at Crooked Tree Creperie. We had the zucchini sticks - they were very fresh, excellent. We split two savory crepes - a sauteed spinach with goat cheese, and the mushroom. Both were very good. A dessert crepe was also very good. At nighttime, the small restaurant had a quaint, intimate feel, and had nice, dimmish-lighting. This is a great place for a low key, romantic date. Prices were very reasonable; quality of food was excellent. We really liked it here!

    Not impressed

We went on a Monday evening with just one more table occupied. It took forever for our crepes to come and they were cold! The sweet crepe arrived a littler faster on our request but was just OK. I have had better crepes.

    Great Dessert!

Tiny place but good atmosphere. Had a crepe with chicken, bacon and cheddar. It was very good! Not the best crepe i ever had but great! Sangria is strong and delicious. However, as for the dessert, it is amazing! Had a crepe with mixed fruits, dulce de leche and nuttela. To die for! Definitely check this place out. Very inexpensive.

    Best Sangria and Crepes EVER!!!!

We drove 1.5 hours on a chilly Saturday nite this past weekend and dinner couldn't be better. We had the potato and leek soup and salad to start of, then a bunch of crepes to die for... Can't say much about sandwiches like the previous post, I won't go there just for sandwiches, they are a creperie and that's the specialty..Try the Peach and the white Sangria, can't say which one is better....The crow is nice, the service is fast but not rushing you out the door, the music is always playing and there is room for a laugh or two (we were really loud)....GOOD JOB.....We'll keep coming back....

Not as good as before, I only ever ordered delivery

I've only ever ordered delivery. They are understaffed it seems because most of the time they can't deliver. When they do its great! They're food used to be unmatched, but they've recently changed their ingredients. The bread is not as good, and I don't know what the story is with the sandwiches but they used to have much more flavor... I will still come back because its a great place, great food, but it just used to be better. This always happens, and probably it will just keep getting worse. Hopefully this review will make them change back to their old ingredients :-)

I have loved this place for years, and even after I moved out of state, every time I come back this is where I go. Their crepes are fantastic, and the side salad they serve with it is superb! They have a nice dessert menu, too and I think all in all for NYC a great value! Hands down BEST sangria ever!! LOVE IT!

    Downgraded ingredients

It's a good returant. It's cramped, but in a charming sort of way. And the food was fantastic. The crepes are fantastic--and they've been consistantly fantastic. If you're not getting a crepe, be careful though. The first time I went, I got these little vegi-burger sliders with spicy mayo and avacado. They were fantastic. I couldn't wait to go back. But when I did, the vegi-burgers seemed to have experienced a downgrade. The mini-vegi-patties that had been so carefully crafted before were gone. This time they used one regular-sized frozen grocery-story vegi pattie and cut it in half. It didn't taste nearly as good, and the texture was inferior as well. It tasted like my frozen bocca burgers. Not to mention, it was awkward to eat a mini-burger with pattie corners sticking out so far. Also, the avacado wasn't ripe enough and I had to mash it up for a few minutes first. Now, it was by no means awful. But it wasn't something I'd pay $8 for when I could get the same exact product at home for $3 It is only worth that $8 when they used those custom mini-patties. I will go back, but I'm asking about the status of their vegiburgers before I order that item again. I want to give kudos to the staff for time management, though. There's only one guy waiting and one guy cooking--and I had my food in no time even though the restaurant was full. I was in and out of there in only 15-20 minutes.
