Ate here on a Sunday night a few weeks ago and loved it. The proscuitto, buffalo mozzeralla and all the antipasta was the best I've had in the city. The veal parm and lamb shank entrees were equally great. Service was great and we even got a table outside.
I have eaten here several times and absolutely love this place! I've tried many different things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Everything is delicious and the fact that it is reasonably priced doesn't hurt!

The cooking at Crispo is absolutely fantastic, and the pricing makes it a steal. Can't say enough re that aspect. However, on a Sat. night this place gets so hammered that the service part of the equation feels like a well-run diner. Go during the week.

This was my second time at Crispo and I was more blown away than the first time. What can I say? Mr. Crispo and company put out some of the yummiest dishes that I've ever tasted. I'm in LOVE with this palce andI think I have a crush on Mr. Crispo too.

Our adult children took us to Crispo last pm! The atmosphere, food and service was great. The surprise of the evening was the eclectic mix of music! Our waiter said the owner made the mix! We'd love a copy! Tried the web sit to no avail! We'll all be back!

My husband and I go to Crispo on a regular basis and never once have we had a dinner that wasn't sensational. We eat out at least 3-4 times a week, always trying the "hot spots" in town, and Crispo is consistently fantastic. The staff is terrific too - the waiters are always friendly and honest in their recommendations. We especially love the Risotto Balls, the fresh mozz w/ rocket and tomato, the creamy polentat with smoked mozz and prosciutto; the hanger steak is the best around, as are the lamb chops. They recently had a special of raviolis with artichokes which was divine, too. For desert, we love the strawberry shortcake, the chocolate chip cookies, and the creme brulee. A perfect date place or to entertain clients.

I dine out at least 3 times per week and I thought we had found all of the cities gems. Though Crispo is hardly "hidden", we had not yet stumbled upon it. Ate there last weekend and was blown away. The food was an expert combination of flavor, texture and presentation--AND reasonably priced! As if that wasn't enough, our waiter was incredible! He knew the dishes and their ingredients. He took the time to talk to us about the kinds of things we liked and expertly steered us through the menu and specials to create a truly memorable meal. All waiters in NYC should be trained at this level. Going back as soon as possible!
