    Absolutely the Best!

I've been visiting Crif or ordering delivery at least once a week, sometimes much more, for the past 4 years since I moved to the east village. The veggie dogs hit the spot every time...Order the fries and a shake too, and you have a delicious meal that you can't find anywhere else in the city...The people there are really nice and the delivery is always piping hot and quite fast...If you go there to eat, it's a fun experience...the food is out in under 10 minutes and you get to meet all kinds of interesting characters. Plus the location is optimal..right next to the park...Good stuff!

    Best Hot Dog Ever

This is the best hotdog I have ever had. And that's my word. Politik'n from New Orleans.

    Crif Dogs rule!

Crif Dogs is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Their veggie dogs are just amazing, and their cole slaw is to die for. Plus the place is kitschy and adorable. If you're a vegetarian dying for a true hot dog experience, this will satisfy you. I can't even think about this place without drooling.

    The Best

Oh My God! I LOVE Crif Dogs. The 80s atmosphere, the friendly service, and the awesome dogs. Honestly, it's just great fast food, so if you want a five star meal, go somewhere else! This place is best with an open mind, and a young heart. The video games were rad, and the service was v. friendly (I don't know why previous posts said service was rude! It's so not!) Their meat dogs are just as good as their veggie dogs, and the RC Cola makes you feel like a kid again. It was very cheap, and a good value, I was full all day! I had the corn dawg, but I can't wait to go back to try the ecclectic good morning or chihuahua!

    Best Place in the World

Crif Dogs is amazing. They have the best food in the world and the people who work there are very social and the place is just amazing. Its small and it really reresents the East Village.

    Good food poor service

I have been to criffs a few times and I must say that the hot dogs are just delicious. I have to agree with another reviewer that yes, everytime I have been there, the service is poor. Why is it in nyc establishments that so many times the staff has to be like this?! Anyway, I'll probably go again, but I would be embarrassed to bring guests.

The dogs you hate to love

If you really care about the difference between an Oscar Meyer or a Gray's or whichever dog you prefer, then you are going to be disappointed that you're not getting precisely what you thought. But, if you actually have a life and an open mind you'll get EXACTLY what you want: a mildly expensive hot dog with a little EV charm. It's a hot dog, not caviar. It is delicious, supremely unhealthy, salty, and did I say delicious? I'm a meat eater, but try the veggie. Amazing. Don't drink too much and eat more than one. You are sure to leave right outside in the gutter. And to some other reviewer: go back to LA.
