Crepes on Columbus

A really nice treat. I love the crepes with mango and chicken, and the dessert crepes. Banana and Nutella is my personal favorite. They also make a nice croque monsiour, and a very competent French onion soup. I like the fact that a beautiful salad with balsamic vinaigrette is provided with each order.

Crepes is the place I take out of towners when I want to impress them. The atmosphere is cordial, open, homey and clean. The service is very friendly, if a bit on the slow side (they speed up if you ask them nicely), the plates are thoughtfully balanced, generously portioned and beautifully presented. May they have success enough to keep them around for years.

I've gone to 'Crepes' for brunch many times and have always had a wonderful dining experience. The service is laid back and friendlier than anywhere I know. Plus, the space itself is cozy without being crowded, and actually seems CLEAN! Many pricier diners could take a page from their book. The food is great, the price is right. Ex: a breakfast crepe comes with three meats/cheeses/veggies, no matter which you choose, and you always get a tasty, perfectly dressed mesculin salad and potatos, no extra charge. I hate paying extra for things I want (salmon, goat cheese...), and I appreciate that the works are figured in to the price at the off-set. Eat there; you won't be dissapointed.

This is such a find, everything I've tried has been great, plus the food is much, much better than nearby higher priced restaurants. I've only been in the evening and the service is very friendly and personal without being overbearing. Do try the french onion soup.

My partner and I came here for brunch this morning; I had heard good things and I LOVE crepes, so I was excited. When we arrived, there were lots of empty tables, yet it took almost 15 minutes for our coffee to arrive, and another 45 minutes for our food to arrive, with no explanations or apologies. We noticed that other customers who had come in after us were being served before us. By the time our food came, there was a huge crowd of folks in the restaurant fighting over tables and hovering over our table with no direction from the staff, so it really was unpleasant. After reading the other reviews, I guess perhaps it was just an off-day. I would come again during the week maybe when it's less busy because the food really was excellent -- I just wish we didn't have to wait so long in an unpleasant atmosphere.

What a great find on Columbus Street! The savory crepes make for a great lunch with a side of salad greens. The dessert crepes are very rich but very yummy. Go in with an empty stomach!

My friend took us to this place this morning. I cannot tell you how amazing it was. The owner was so friendly and warm, the food was prepared quickly and tasted fabulous. It's such a great place for a quiet Sunday brunch or an impromptu breakfast during the week. HIGHLY recommended.
