Crepes on Columbus

I love Crepes On Columbus. Its one of the best restaurants in NYC. When I came to visit my sister here in the city she told me all about it, and when I went I was glad I did! I loved the nutella banana and strawberry crepe. Its the best sweet crepe I've ever tasted. Besides that one all their food was great, the french toast was kind of weak but it was still eatable. The service was awesome! I loved the two hispanic girls that were there that thursday night. They were really friendly and greeted everyone with a lot of love and care, as if they were family. They attended to our every need and made sure we had everything we wanted. I cant wait to go back to the city to eat there again, but i will be sure its on thursday night to see my to friends again. I'll recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

We have had their food twice on a week, it was that good. The savory and sweet crepes were really tasty and their salads were devine. A welcome new place in the neighborhood!!

Delicious food, no matter what I've ordered. I've never had a problem with my deliveries, and the service while eating in has always been pleasant (and much better than many places in Manhattan). The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and enjoyable, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Hands down one of my favorite places to eat!

Generally, I wouldn't take the time to contribute my opinion about a restaurant to a website. But, on the slim chance that the owner of Crepes on Colombus might see this review, I will do so today. I think the food at this neighborhood spot is excellent (for the most part) but the service (unless the owner himself happens to serve you) is so poor that it defies believability. It's so bad that my girlfriend and I take bets each and every time we order delivery on how many items will be missing and how many items will be wrong. Realistically, I would say that in the twenty or so times I've ordered food from Crepes, the order has come complete, in under an hour and a half, without mistakes, once. Just one time. So why do I keep going back? Because the food, even when it's wrong, is still better than anything else our neighborhood has to offer. I'm convinced that as soon as a comparable breakfast/lunch spot opens, however, Crepes' service will ensure its competition's future is secure.

Wasn't impressed by their ham crepe. I was expecting some French ham with a firm dry texture. Instead it was the usual watery sugary American stuff. I also had a creme brulee, also very forgettable. Didn't have the rich buttery creaminess that constitutes the whole point of creme brulee. I would come back though, to try their sweet crepes. Plus I love the neighborhood. With Columbia university nearby, it's like NYC's answer to Paris' Quartier Latin. I like the park on the river banks where you can watch the sun set on Jersey City.

I eat here a lot and sometimes the food is good, the service is never good but occasionally decent, and its local. If somewhere around the corner opened that had great breakfast, nobody would eat here again. The service is subpar with the most uninspired staff I have ever seen. It's almost a joke when they can routinly get not just one order right, but its usually like this: you wait to get your drinks till you remind the server for the third time as your food arrives, its the wrong crepe, you send it back, you wait and wait, your crepe comes with a nice salad, it has no dressing, you cant get any and forget asking for water, toast, or ketchup. The crepes are good tho, why my friends religiously dont just go up to kitchenette in harlem is beyond me cause I get stressed out eating here.
