Crepes on Columbus

Someone recently noted that this place is inconsistent. It's true. Honestly, the food is only bad when the owner is cooking. The regular cooks are good, but the owner skimps and makes thin crepes that break. We need better restaurants in his neighborhood.

Though housed in a rather chinese takeout-ish restaurant space, the crepes here are very good. While they don't compare to crepes I've had in Philly, they are great nonetheless. I had the chicken, spinach and basil crepes as well as the apple cinnamon crepes. Both were very good. Worth checking out if you are a crepes fan.

the food is always fantastic!, it was the only reason for what I started visiting that neighborhood. The crêpes are always delicious! you must try!

I found this place after a hankering for crepes inspired by my recent trip to Paris. I was delighted to find not only typical breakfast crepes, but also savory crepes with all kinds of fillings like salmon, chicken, and tiger shrimp. I eat here all the time and have never been dissapointed. The sweet crepes are amazing but indulgent so I encourage sharing even though once you see it you may not want to. The salads are great too - especially the goat cheese. It's a bit out of the way but worth it...my friends and I make the pilgrimage regularly.

First of all, I have never been disappointed with the food here. The crepes are huge and very savory- the breakfast crepes are a particularly fantastic deal. And the delivery cant be beat- the person on the phone was delightful and my food was delivered in 30 minutes. Highly recommended!

5 stars but there is a HUGE caveat! I order from here all the time...it is like my substitute kitchen. The menu overall is great...love the salads...love the butternut squash and kidney bean soups (fresh, no creams, oil, and other junk). But, alas, you come here for the crepes. The sweet crepes are divine...BUT when made well. The biggest problem with this restaurant is that it is INCONSISTENT. When the crepes are made well, they are the best. But, on a few occassions, they have not been made well...they have been burnt/crisp/tough. As one reviewer alluded to, the cooks prepare them differently. If it is your first time, you will think they are the best crepes in the city. But, it is definitely hit, miss, hit if you come here frequently. After having such a great experience you want to come again only to be disappointed that it was not made the same way as last time. The owner is really laid back so I can see why their is no cooking discipline. Recently had one of the same crepes I ordered a few days prior that I inhaled (because it was decadent) but this time is was overcooked and burnt..I was so shocked and upset! Will not hesitate to ask for a REDO going forward.

Crepes on Columbus has fantastic breakfast/brunch options as well as very tasty crepes. Really, you can't go wrong with this palce- great food, great prices and a friendly staff.
