My friend and I tried The Creperie after a night at a bar down the street. I loved this place! It was so small inside, but they had a wide variety of crepes to choose from. I had the house special crepe which had strawberries and chocolate inside, and it was EXCELLENT! Wish I could have brought home some for family to try, but considering the ingredients with no fridge in the hote room, that was impossible. Next time visiting NYC I will definitely make another trip there and get another crepe (or two)!

The crepes are delicious but the service is shoddy. Our receipt had the correct order on it but we were missing a crepe. They insisted I was wrong when I called even though I was staring at a receipt with a correct order. To top it off they said it would be an hour to get the replacement crepe and we'd have to pay full price. Then we we realized we were also missing all of our whipped cream, but at that point they appear to have taken all their phones off the hook because both numbers have been busy for the last 30 minutes.

Having lived in Paris, my standards for crêpes are high. While it is difficult to re the ideal Parisian crêpe, this restaurant comes as close as I've ever seen outside of France. Three of us shared six different crêpes (three savory, three dessert) and we were unanimously very pleased - excellent ingredients, good texture and taste to the crêpes, interesting atmosphere (literally "hole in the wall") and good service. Note: if you are expecting a 100% duplication of the quality of a Parisian crêpe, you will be disappointed, but if you're happy with 95%, you will be overjoyed! To be honest, the broad variety of options in the menu is something I NEVER saw in Paris (dulce de leche, sun-dried tomatoes, brie), and that brings my satisfaction back up to 100%. It's a little slower than a Parisian street crêperie, to be sure, but not enough to cause a problem. And yes, it may seem pricey, but considering the quality we got, it was well worth the cost. A little cramped for a group of people, especially ones who want more than one crêpe each (they're that good), but it's okay.

I read this place has great crepes. I read wrong. I had the classic lemon and sugar and it was over cooked/presque brulé on one side and kind of uncooked and mushy on the other. The guy making it was not a happy camper and it showed in the crepe. I know I have high standards for crepes as a former resident of Paris, France, but even the Central Park crepe guys are better than this guy.

To put it simply, this place is phenomenal! From the food to the value, everything was top-notch and it was amazing to see how much busier it got as the hours turned late. The guys behind the counter were very funny and had great attitudes. I can honestly say that I had a great experience overall and suggest you get your own as well.

Yesterday after hitting the bars, walking to our car we were craving something sweet that wasn't candy. As we walked by this awesome smell filled the air and immediatly we were drawn in to Creperie. These are honestly the best crepes that i have had by far! The 2 men working were both friendly and very funny. Creperie is highly recommended... (along with nutella and bananas).[_]

What a find! There are so many options from which to choose-both savory and sweet! The decor is fun and funky, complete with a mini disco ball. However, count yourself lucky if you get a seat inside. My only vice, of similar establishments this is a bit pricey. All in all, it is worth it so go on and indulge!
