    worth it

I came here with my friend after a night out and we shared a strawberry & nutella crepe. It was fresh and warm, everything you would expect. The place is tiny, if you find a seat, take it. People watching is always entertaining in this area.

    The crepes are amazing

The savory crepe I got here last night was absolutely amazing. The artichoke with mozzarela and fresh tomato and the avocado I added were as good as any of the crepes I had in Europe last month. My boyfriend had the banana and nutela crepe and we both were enjoying every bite. We will stop here again every time we are in down town or when we want to treat our friends to a taste of heaven without getting broke.

The Crepe and service used to be good, now is gone

I've been livng here at the conner of Ludlow and Rivington for more than 5 years. The crepe and service were constant untill last year. The new crepe makers are bad especially the new girl that's working right now. She over cook the crepe and all I can taste is the burn spots on my crepe. She is also rude, she always talk on the phone. Whenever I walk into the store she has this sad face, like I'm not welcome. Even when I tip her she didn't even say thank you. I think is not worth it to pay such high price for this kind of service and food. They are still using the same materials, but the person who is making it, is not making it with her heart. And you can tell when you taste the first bite of the crepe. She needs to be train. She is the sloopiest crepe maker I've never seem. You'll know when you see how she makes a crepe.

    Loved the crepes

My friend and I tried The Creperie after a night at a bar down the street. I loved this place! It was so small inside, but they had a wide variety of crepes to choose from. I had the house special crepe which had strawberries and chocolate inside, and it was EXCELLENT! Wish I could have brought home some for family to try, but considering the ingredients with no fridge in the hote room, that was impossible. Next time visiting NYC I will definitely make another trip there and get another crepe (or two)!

    Shoddy Service

The crepes are delicious but the service is shoddy. Our receipt had the correct order on it but we were missing a crepe. They insisted I was wrong when I called even though I was staring at a receipt with a correct order. To top it off they said it would be an hour to get the replacement crepe and we'd have to pay full price. Then we we realized we were also missing all of our whipped cream, but at that point they appear to have taken all their phones off the hook because both numbers have been busy for the last 30 minutes.

    Best west of the Atlantic

Having lived in Paris, my standards for crêpes are high. While it is difficult to re the ideal Parisian crêpe, this restaurant comes as close as I've ever seen outside of France. Three of us shared six different crêpes (three savory, three dessert) and we were unanimously very pleased - excellent ingredients, good texture and taste to the crêpes, interesting atmosphere (literally "hole in the wall") and good service. Note: if you are expecting a 100% duplication of the quality of a Parisian crêpe, you will be disappointed, but if you're happy with 95%, you will be overjoyed! To be honest, the broad variety of options in the menu is something I NEVER saw in Paris (dulce de leche, sun-dried tomatoes, brie), and that brings my satisfaction back up to 100%. It's a little slower than a Parisian street crêperie, to be sure, but not enough to cause a problem. And yes, it may seem pricey, but considering the quality we got, it was well worth the cost. A little cramped for a group of people, especially ones who want more than one crêpe each (they're that good), but it's okay.

best crepes? I don't think so.

I read this place has great crepes. I read wrong. I had the classic lemon and sugar and it was over cooked/presque brulé on one side and kind of uncooked and mushy on the other. The guy making it was not a happy camper and it showed in the crepe. I know I have high standards for crepes as a former resident of Paris, France, but even the Central Park crepe guys are better than this guy.
