Kids Are Home on the Range at Cowgirls!
My husband, 3 year old son, and I spent Valentines weekend in NYC. We LOVED Cowgirls! My son loved the Lincoln Logs and train set up for kids in the lounge where we waited for our table. The kid's menu has great favorites and the Mac and Cheese was very creamy. I'm only sad I didn't order a frito chili pie (something this Okie cowgirl grew up on). The ribs were fine and the waiters were great - considering it was busy Valentines. The campy Western western motiff mixed with NY neon lights and fun made for a great memory. Check out the little candy shop on the way out. Where can they find those sweets from the 50s? Yee haw!

Best Damn Tex Mex In The West Village
This place is fun, exciting, and totally yummy. Whenever I have some extra money, and feel like having some extra fun - I take my friends to Cowgirl Hall of Fame. The place is decorated all hip Western, and is even equipped with a merchandise counter. I recommend the homestyle mashed potatoes and gravy. Yumilicious.
