    Always a great brunch experience!

My 9yr old and I go there every Saturday for brunch. She loves their pancakes and grilled chicken (great kids' menu for brunch and value too). The egg dishes and bacon are always done to my preference, the staff is efficient and friendly and welcomes kids unlike so many places. The lemonade is really tasty. It is nice to have country and western music played intermittently as it adds to the atmosphere (along with the decor) While we may not be in the West, it's nice to pretend at The Cowgirl!

I went to cowgirl to have a good dinner with my girlfriend. We sat at the booth and had the most disappointing time. There were kids sitting in the booth unattended by adults. They were out of control jumping around, knocking the booth so hard it hit my back via the booth wall. The parents were in another booth enjoying themselves. The kids were very loud. I complained to the waiter and all he said as "I wish I were the manager". Then he went to the table with the parents and was laughing with them taking a nice tip from them. The food was mediocre at best. My gf's veggie burger was the most unappetizing she ever had. My food ribs were full of fat. Clearly not the best ribs I ever had. I complained to the manager upon leaving but all he said was that I wish someone had told him. I told him I did and I could see our waiter smirking. I will never return to this place.

    Comfort food but mediocre

I have been going to Cowgirl for many years. I have to admit, the food is pretty mediocre and way over-priced. That said, when I am homesick for south, I always go there, and I am never essentially disappointed. The frozen margaritas are good; the sweet potato fries are good; the Chicken Chimayo salad is a safe bet. Though some find the service lackadaisical, I have always found them friendly if, on busy holidays, somewhat frazzled. Despite all its drawbacks, if you want to hear Johnny Cash and have a really good Margarita, it's worth it.

    What a disaster

we went on 4th of July - were told 45 min wait - went to the bar + ordered some stuff there - table was ready + we sat. needless to say we had a waitress from hell - food still didn't come out after an hour + we were told when asked how much longer "probably going to still be a while...im not going to bother them in the kitchen"...then told 5 more min + 25 min later still nothing...she laid blame on everything except for herself. the manager came over + offered nachos which we already had. after an hour and a half of nothing with the manager at our table we got up + left...i'd NEVER go back to this dive.

    Pretty good

Sweet potato fries are great. Big Ole burger was good. Don't get the BBQ chicken burger. Not worth the price and just kinda blah.

Amazing food - you won't be disappointed!

The food is fabulous. The atmosphere is fun. The service leaves something to be desired. The chopped salad is top notch, the fish & chips are great, the steak is fab - everything is great (I've tried it all). This is a no-brainer - you can't go wrong. Yes, delivery charge is high.

After years of passing this place by, we finally went because we heard it was kid-friendly. The food was not good, and I can't believe that anyone who lives in New York would ever think otherwise. Not only is the food subpar, but they give you WAY too much of it as if that would make you forgot. I had the bbq beef sandwich and it upset my stomach; my wife had a cobb salad she found inedible; our kid couldn't eat her corn dog.
