Covo

This place is hidden and tucked away but worth getting here. The food is delicious and the decor is cool. The open kitchen in the back is a nice touch. We enjoy going here once a week. The service is scattered and needs work. Really needs to get delivery!!

This is a pretty cool spot for great pizza and drinks. Service is a little sketchy, seems all over the place and the entrees need a little work. Overall nice hang out but I'll say go with the pizza.

I love Covo. Go here often and at this point have pretty much tried the entire menu. I really have nothing bad to say. I would like the addition of cracked pepper mills on each table and perhaps oil and vinegar but my only real compliant is that the lunchtime menu is the same as the dinner menu. Perhaps a slightly dumbed down lunch menu would be a good addition. Leave the pizzas and salads but maybe add some more soups and sandwiches. Use some of that amazing bread you put out before each meal. All round an AMAZING addition to the neighborhood and I wish them every sucess. The prices are fantastic but I think I have noticed drinks prices creeping up.......

This place is a short walk from my apartment and I'm so greatful. Max's is fantastic, and they've managed replicate that sucess with a bigger menu in a larger space! I've only eaten outside, which is lovely, and the service is good, but not fantastic. The food is a great value, compared to all of the other restaurants near here (do you here me, Columbia restaurants?!) and is very tasty. I've had an entree and tried two of the pizzas. Very nice, worth the trip!

The pizza was very good and at their prices I hought it was an individual pizaa, but no full 6 slices. Nice cheese, crust & veggies. The pasta is MaxSoHa, so enough said. Very good & homemade pasta. Nice price, good portion, good sauce. Bread good. Nice salad. The place is large with a nice lounge. Easy to park & even has free valet. We live in Riverdale & only wish we had a place this good. Very convenient. The service is a little disjointed, but not too bad. They are trying real hard. The managers really know what they are doing and wil make it run smoother. GO.

this place is a great addition to harlem dining. food is great as is the atmosphere. service is slow but fairly gracious. never had anything there I didn't like- expect the wait when ordering or getting food.

I have been to Covo about 5-6 times, mostly for late lunches and dinner. The food is good, the environment is cute and I love how close it is to my house. The pizza is to die for and the salads and pasta dishes are good. Now for the bad. Despite the waiters & waitresses neat little digital order pads the service is ehhh. Really ehhh if you go on a weekend night. We made the mistake of going there on a Saturday night and even though we were served by the owner, one of our appetizers was forgotten, we had to practically stand on chairs to get drinks and it took 10 minutes to get a dessert menu when requested. It would be more helpful if additional wait staff was hired and if they got proper training in multi tasking. I have also gone for a late lunch and have been ignored while trying to place my order while the entire restaurants water glasses have been filled. Don’t get me wrong, that is part of good service, but when they are all half full, it can wait a 1 minute or so. The restaurant would be great if they fixed these issues and just might be a happening spot. I think a great restaurant requires great food AND great service.
