favorite neighborhood spot
The sandwiches are the main attraction, amazing quality (the prices are reasonable when you think about the quality of ingredients they're using) and I finally had one of their new dinners recently and we had a wonderful time and loved the food. Its my favorite neighborhood lunch/take out dinner place in Brooklyn if they had delivery I'd have to be hauled out through a window like they do with piano's.

Whats the Beef?
This place makes some great sandwiches, and does awesome specialty dinners. It's really great what their doing with the space and the food is always great. The beef... Mostly the staff there is really nice helpful and nice. There is however a counter girl there that makes you feel uncomfortable for ordering pretty much with every word there is a roll of the eyes.

My Favorite Part About Gowanus
i volunteer with an organization in this area a few days a week and was so excited when i stumbled upon this gem of a shop! i eat lunch here everyday that i'm in the area and i've NEVER been disappointed. i've had about three or four of their sandwiches and each one has blown my mind! i wish the prices were a little lower, but the staff there has always been mega cool and super quick, so i guess i can overlook the price just a little. they also have a selection of unique/old-timey sodas to choose from. (currently sipping on a Cheerwine and loving it!) if you're ever down this way on Court St, DEFINITELY stop in and check it out!
