had great dinner , the place was re arranged and it has great atmosphere, the food was amazing- new menu, we did the tasting menu and although we were full we didnt stop eating. worth rechecking fair pricing need to update the website

Dont even bother, save your money, poor wait staff with bad attitude, cold food, we waited 45 min for appetizers. place should be ashamed for charging these high prices.

4 of us had dinner here Wed.11.28. The building is architecturally beautiful and the lobby of the Carlton quite nice. We ate downstairs which was pleasant. We were not seated for 40 minutes- which was the beginning of the poor service we encountered. We left after 3 hours as service was terribly slow, the waitress passed our table 6 times before we could get the check, feeling comfortable which was nice but it was due to the minute portions. Portion size would have been more acceptable had the prices been in line. Ravioli entree included 5 ravioli for $20 and a pecan tart for dessert was literally 2 bites, but cost $10.00. Perhaps better for lunch. I would not recommend for dinner.

Went there for a business lunch and we absolutely loved it! (fyi- Bobby Flay was at the table next to us). The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very comfortable chic. I would absolutely recommend and I do not understand all of the bad reviews either!

The wait staff tried very hard and was very attentive. Unfortunately the food was disappointing; every course missed the mark, was over salted and sauces were over condensed. I never wrote a review but I felt that people should be warned. Stay Away!

It started at the bar where we got attitude from a young bartender that gave me a simple cocktail with no garnish. Once seated at our table we sat for 30 mins before our waitress took even our drink order! They gave one of us a substitute vodka which was not impressive and needed to be switched. Then we ordered. The appetizers and entrees were served in an acceptable time frame. 3 out 4 of us found our meal unimpressive and all of us found the quality did not match the prices. Expect to pay top dollar for uninspired cuisine not cooked terribly well (much was overcooked). I never give reviews but I felt we were really taken and this place has no business getting any good reviews. Chef George Zakarian should be ashamed of himself. I don't plan on visiting his other restaurant Town anytime soon!
