A rare treat
A truly delicious meal with great unusual wine in a sexy, cool environment. What else is there?

Won't be back
At first, I was impressed with the restaurant decor. Trendy yet not overdone. The drinks/cocktails were great. Then it was downhill from there. The waitress took forever and a day to take our order. When we finally were able to order, 2 of the main entree dishes were no longer available. How could you be out of 2 of your signature dishes? It was 8:00 on a Saturday night? Then we had to wait over an hour for our food? It wasn't as if the restaurant was fully booked or anything. Granted we were a party of 6, I can't imagine that 6 plates could take that long. It's not like they have to cook any meat either. The food was decent but nothing to rave about. Overall, not recommended.

Wow
Everything I ate here I rate an 11 out of 10. The po' boy, the peanut noodles, the wine and the chocolate cake. Absolutely unbelievable. I was astonished I didn't find one thing I would've changed even slightly w/ each dish. Such reasonable prices too! The only thing I found repellant was the terrible, loud world music they were playing, but it was forgiven due to the delicious integrity of their top-notch food. They also have a full organic wine and beer list. Can't wait to go back.

fantastic!
I have been to many vegan resturants in this city and counter is by far one of my top favorites. The waitstaff was very accomodating to my many food allergies and the atmosphere was uplifting. An overall extremely satifsying expereince. I highly recomend the walnut-lentil pate panini.

poor brunch service
after giving the one waitree our order, it took 20 mintues for them to bring our coffee, and one hour and 10 minutes to bring our waffle. a waffle. and during that time, not one single employee in the restaurant acknowledged us. we couldn't even get someone to pour us more coffee. and i was clear i was making a movie, and told them i would not pay for it. left it on the table and cleared the room. the waffle didn't even look worth the $11 they were going to charge me.

Great Vegan in Trendy Atmosphere
I have eaten here a couple of times in the past few weeks. I am so happy to find a hip place that is doing tasty and affordable vegan cuisine with out the earthy-crunchiness of many of its competitors. I agree w/ a previous poster that the freebies they give you at the start of your meal are great. I've been given fried plantains w/ a redpepper sauce and potato bread with sweet potato puree. Seconds? Not a problem. We even got some olives delivered to our table that we spyed on the bar when we came in. Anyhow, servers are great, knowledgeable and fun, vibe is nice, no pressure to move u through your meal, nice organic beers and wines and inventive foods. If you are a veg/vegan u must check it out.
