I'll be a regular
Ordered to-go over the phone. It was ready when I showed up 10 minutes later, piping hot (the food, not me) Counter service friendly, talky, no problem with adding dessert item to my order. Quality, price, a nice surprise. I'll be back.

Ok Service but disappointing food
My family and I (party of four) went to Cosmic Dinner over the weekend. Good: French onion soup; french fries. Mediocre: monte cristo pannini Bad: Special eggs benedict with crab meat - terrible: hashbrown flavorless, hollandaise sauce yucky; Unbearable: philly cheese steak came out smelly, unedible had to send it right back! Sorry Cosmic....ain't comin' back.

Worst service! Unappy workers, owners, and customers!
Don't expect to go here and actually enjoy the service! The waitress was rude and only came around to place the order and drop off the check! Everyone in this place seems to be unhappy! If I'm going to pick your place to eat at 10 am try to give me or your other patrons a fake smile! We are bringing you business! Food wasn't what I expected! I will def not make this place my choice next time!

Great food, great value in Theatre District
This is a wonderful find in the Theatre District. It's nothing fancy - the decor is typical 70s diner. But the food & the service is excellent, great for both locals & tourists. We like to go to the Cosmic for breakfast - we love the Challah French toast & omelettes. The prices, especially for this area, are excellent. The menu is extensive & varied. The service is exceptionally fast wihtout being rushed. The portions are large, but not gargantuan like at some of the over-priced tourist trap delis in the area.

my place
yeah it's not something fancy...but it's one of greatest diners in new york...it has great food and that is the important thing when you go somewhere to eat...cosmic diner it is my place......go and meet the greek owners,love them!!

Don't order delivery from Cosmic
Do yourself a favor & don't order deliver service from this place. Instead of the broccolli/cheddar omlette I ordered, I received Bacon/cheddar omlette. It was greasy, wet and slimy. Instead of teh Fries I asked for, I received greasy has browns. The cofffee was cold (and I only live a few blocks away). Totally disappointing.
