Disappointing
Ordered for takeout & when I got to my destination my lettuce was reduced to a slimy pile of mush because they mixed the dressing in and used so much there was a pool of it in the bottom of the bowl. The music was too loud for the cashier and I to hear each other even shouting. Several toppings that I paid for were not included, and the chicken was like rubber.

Done with Cosi
When I moved to NYC seven years ago, I loved Cosi for lunch--the food was good and fresh, the atmosphere ok...It has gone way down hill. No matter what location, they consistently mess up my order (and the order is never difficult)...today for example, at this location, a turkey with swiss and lettuce. Not hard. Got to the office and it wasn't turkey and the lettuce was brown...Cosi isn't the same anymore. I'm done.

typical yuppie central
The staff could not be bothered by your patronage... as a matter of fact, they are very bothered by your patronage. I like the sandwiches and salads but will purposely wait and go to the one on 48th Street when I'm in that area rather than walk 2 blocks to this one. You'd think with the typical W yuppies that frequent here, management would be a little more conscious about their "customer service". Get with the program...

Not recommended
Went to the 1633 B'way location. Ordered a tuna melt. It came out lukewarm so I asked the sandwich guy to put it back in the oven for awhile so it could be hot. It came back still lukewarm. The sandwich itself was far from delicious, basically just tuna, cheese and bread. Maybe they could possibly throw on a veggie or two? Perhaps something green? I paid $7.50 for a subpar lukewarm sandwich. All this while constantly being yelled at by the help to "Step down! Step down!" by the staff. They seem far more concerned with wrangling cattle than with making decent food.

Skimpy salads!
Until today, i had only had the smores. I got the bombay chicken salad and it was skimpy. The plastic bowl is way too big and there's barely anything in it. For $7+ you can go a block away and get a big salad with anything you want for 8. The bread that came with the salad was good. It's a nice place to sit and talk. Really clean and friendly.

Cosi Rocks!
Cosi on 6th Ave. & 23rd St. is a wonderful place to dine! The wait staff and management are always pleasant and professional , the atmosphere is always comfy and nice, and the food is never short of AMAZING! I recommend the Signature Salad, Tandoori Chicken Sandwich, and don't forget mmmm, Smores! Cosi in Chelsea ROCKS and don't let anybody tell you differently!
