Top 5 Worst in NYC
For the second time in a row I waited for 15 minutes for someone to take my 'to-go' order. They don't care because they don't make tips on 'to-go' orders so my girlfriend and I stood there like chumps watching all the servers work. When asked if they would help the answer was flat out 'No.' I got fed up with watching them and walked to the back where they are making sandwiches and literally asked a chef if he wouldn't mind starting my sandwich since I was trying to catch a movie, to which he politely said, 'yes.' Now granted this was the second time with the same poor service. As the line grew longer and the groans grew louder one of the 2 people pouring lemonade into cups for 8 minutes decided to take my order. The ice machine was out of ice. They forgot my drink for the second time. And if Cosi management had a clue they would hire a part-time employee to work nights and do nothing but place 'to-go' orders. The sandwiches were good, though.

a nice place to chill
this is the best cosi in the city - nice place to hang out, have a quiet tea, salad, sandwich. no stress. really comfortable. food is good - ingredients always fresh. also, if you want a place just to hang and have a cup of coffee during the day, great bagels.

love our server
Me and my boyfriend usually eat here at least once a week, mostly on a friday around 11:30pm. Love the food and we have such an amazing server. I don't remember her name but we always try to sit in her section. She is so helpful and knows our usual order. Loveee the bread, I wish I knew how 2make that type of bread at home. =) When I order salads from here, its usually over flowing the bowl and filled 2the top. So you basically get ur $$s worth. Me n my bf almost always order the double brownie dessert but we don't like the blondie it goes with, and our nice server always replaces it with a warm brownie... =) will always come back if she remains our server

Great place to chill out.
This is definitely the best Cosi in the city. It's open really late and never too packed at night. It's a great place to get a light dinner or just to go for coffee and dessert. My boyfriend and I find ourselves there quite often at night just to get drinks. The waitstaff are all very nice and don't rush you or get irritated if you're just there for coffee. However, the $8 salads aren't really worth it for lunch when there is no waitstaff and you have to wait in line for it.

Poor night service
I can't say anything for the food as I haven't eaten here but a friend and I grabbed a cappucino and chai tea latte here after a big Friday-night meal. Decent enough place to just chill and wind down but it took forever for our server to bring us the check and another near almost 1/2-hour ordeal to get her to ring up our credit cards after that. Maybe it was a bad night (?) but she could care less if we were served; we were just an afterthought. Chai tea latte was yummy though.

Yummy!
I've had two sandwiches: tandoori chicken and the blue cheese chicken. Delightful. The bread is amazing; baked on the premises and is wonderfully crispy. Haven't tried any of the soups or pizzas, but looking around, the 11" pizzas seem very popular. The hot chocolate is huge and comes with a generous helping of whipped cream on top. The last time I was there, my sister and I ordered the smores for two- smores that you make in the middle of your table! Does not come with enough graham crackers or chocolate in my opinion, and kind of not worth the price ($8 or so) if one thinks about it - but the very fact that they bring a tiny fire (blue flames, ooo) to the middle of your table is just awesome. (I was a bit of a pyromaniac as a child.) You can choose to dine either outside or indoors. The service has been pretty good. The food arrives pretty quickly. Our first waiter was very prompt and accommodating. The second one wasn't as alert to our needs - but we could see that he was very busy - but when called upon, he was very obliging. Overall, Cosi is a great place to get a quick bite to eat - good service, great food, good atmosphere (music that you don't have to yell over, and the place is fairly dimly lit but you can still see the person sitting across from you.)

Great for lunch
This cosi and cute place is great for lunch. You go and tell what you want and can even "customize" your sandwich. They make their own bread and it is amazing. Food is worth every penny. There is service only during dinner and I can't say that it's the best. You can also take out.
