Look, this place is small, crowded, and staffed by silent automaton waiters...but why the hell should that matter. Their burgers are amazing, especially considering that they are so inexpensive. Yes, you can grab a slab of ground beef on a bun at an expensive restaurant and it'll be ridiculously good...but also stupidly expensive. For the price, these are some of the sexiest burgers in town. AND, for those of you who find the wait bothersome, do what we do: pound a few $2.50 McSorley Ales and sit down with a buzz and the anticipation of a delicious meat sandwich.

Prob one of the best burgers in the city. Fries are good too. Cheap food, cheap beer but sometimes long wait even on weekdays. They dont deliver which kind of sucks. Waiters arent the friendlist bunch, but besides that the people who go there seem to be a laid back crowd.

This may have been a great burger joint at one time, but most recent experience was unpleasant. Burgers were mediocre at best. The wait was long and hot. The Bartenders were extremely rude. You get what you pay for and the price is a definite reflection of the service. Not worth it.

The burgers are better during the day, when it's not too crowded. But why wait in line, eat at the bar. The bartenders are the real deal. They are fast and will never leave you waiting for a drink, but be forewarned they seem instructed to suffer no fools or jerks. Funny too. The guys have NYC attitude pumping thru their veins. Where else can you get a beer and a burger for $8.00 and listen to great tunes. The jukebox rocks at night. Jazz during the day.

The Bistro Burger is still the best burger in Manhattan. The only problem is the crowds. Corner Bistro always seems to be packed so you might have to wait for service but you'll be happy when you finally eat!

Where else can you get beer for $2.50, a great burger and great fries. Don't come to this place for the atmosphere, you're hear to eat, drink, and get out, but the Bistro has never dissappointed. Even the grill cheese is good for the non-meat eaters.

I recently brought a Jersey buddy of mine to Corner Bistro, claiming that it was going to be the best burger he ever had. By the time we were halfway through our burgers, I was totally embarrassed by my over-hyping. We ordered our burgers medium rare and they arrived some shade of grey in the center. By the second bite, both of our burgers were crumbling to pieces. They didn't even taste good. Dry and flavorless. The frat guy crowd was also dry and flavorless.
