    Puddles of Grease

I recently revisted the Corner Bistro after eating at the more recent additions to the NY Burger landscape... and let me tell you... what a disappointing burger. Cooked under a broiler and incredibly greasy. The burgers weren't cooked as requested and too gritty and grisly. Not recommended. Try someplace else.

Why god made cows, barley, and hopps

Five freakin stars, people! Seriously, where else in the west village of NYC can you walk through the door with a $20 bill in your pocket and expect to get stuffed AND drunk? Sure, the toilet is sticky and gross, and yes, the tables have basically never been cleaned - no wait, the other way around. But who cares? New York is supposed to be dirty, and dammit, it's freakin tasty, Chet. Figure your life out and eat here. Or suffer the embarrassment of your friends all talking about Corner while you lamishly claim that BLT is "da bomb".

    Disappointing

If you're going to serve 93% sirloin burgers, please season it with something... a dash of worcester sauce or a splash of beer, even salt! Do something. The burger is dry and tasteless, and such a shame for using such high quality and healthy cut of meat. The fries were worse. Sorry guys. If you want to experience a real burger, try Norma's in the Parker Meridien or J.G. Melon's, definitely worth the schlep and consistent every trip.

    Best Burger!!

The Corner Bistro often has a long line, but I expect it and don't mind waiting. You can have a beer while you wait. The Burgers never fail, they always taste great. I take my friends here all the time and they have all enjoyed the experience. Don't expect much service expect a great burger and a relaxed atmosphere with people who come for a good time and to eat the best burger in NYC.

    Good, cheap, not pretentious

This was my first time here, I have heard the good and the bad reviews from everyone, I don't claim to be an expert but I just wanted to give my standpoint. I really liked this place, I have no idea what the burgers used to be like but in my opinion they were really good. I had the Bistro Burger and my girlfriend had a regular cheeseburger, both were very good and very large. Fries were fine, beers were fine (and cheap) as well. Service is indeed quick, but my waiter was not rude, frankly I liked that it was quick, I also liked the atmosphere as well, it wasn't pretentious like most other NYC restaurants. Overall, this place is what it is, good food, cheap food, quick service, down home decor, and plenty of beer. Sign me up.

    Best Burger!

This is a great place for a burger and beer. A cool laid-back, young crowd comes here. There is always a 30 minute line, so I deal with it. The wait is worth it for the simplicity and perfection of a good burger. Fast service, relatively attentive depending on the waiter and the day! Good fries. I have taken several different friends here and they all liked it.

    OK

Burgers have fallen off. Still a dingy place with gruff service, but also still very well priced. Plenty of other comparable options these days, no need to wait half an hour for this place anymore.
