I went on a Sunday at 1pm. I should have made a reservation via open table but I didn't so I had to wait 30 min for a table. The food was delicious! I totally recommend the french toast, goat cheese salad and the pancakes! The service was great too and our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely go again.

I have been to the Cornelia St. Cafe twice for dinner with friends and LOVED it both times! The resturant is tucked away on teeny little Cornelia street and this helps to make the place feel "hidden". The place is very cute, with great service and GREAT food. There is a long wine/drink list which can fit all budgets. If you get a table on the sidewalk or by the window there is great people watching, if not the atmosphere inside is quaint (not in an grandma kinda way) with artwork on the wall and frenchie feeling music. I am going again in about 2 weeks! The fish dishes are great! This is one of my favorite places right now - perfect for a girls night out - we can eat, have wine and NOT break the bank!! They will not rush you either!

The Cornelia is a charming little place in the Village. Nice atmosphere, excellent food, and then you can go downstairs in the evening for some high-quality jazz, or a poetry reading. The menu is not extensive, but some of the entres are unusual and worth the try. Overall an excellent experience, which can be repeated depending on who plays downstairs.

This is one of my go-to restaraunts that I always know I can count on when I have to plan a spur of the moment dinner, need a great lunch spot, or just want somewhere cozy. Atmosphere is great - it's a classic city insitution food is great and good value (check out the prix fix menu for dinner) and service very nice. It never dissappoints - roasted chicken, mussels, foie gras, all the salads, and burgers are standouts.

It's Brillant !!! of the bar to not have pints! I rue the day the pint became the standard.

It's a real failure of a bar / restaurant not to have pints.

I lived on Cornelia street 11 years ago and used to frequent "The Cafe" all the time because it was wonderful. Enjoyed the shows downstairs and the wonderful food upstairs. Have started coming back there recently and I must say the place is still wonderful!. Yes, prices have gone up but what hasn't??- the menu choices are wonderful, the food prepared quickly and always delicious. We are always greeted warmly and friendly by the (very goodlooking) Sunday evening staff. The Prix Fixe dinner is a great deal- DEFINITELY has stayed as good as it ever was. Go there some evening for a real village feel treat!
