    good breakfasts, lousy lunch

I loved the pancakes here and my husband liked his omelette once so we tried the lunch today. I had fried whiting and there were so many dark bruised spots on the fish I just picked my way through it. It was too bad because it did taste good. The mac and cheese tasted old to me. Mac and cheese shouldn't be old. How hard is it to make a fresh tray of it everyday. I couldn't even eat it. We won't be going back. Food has to be fresh. You can't be penny-wise pound- foolish when you run a restaurant. Your customers will know it and won't return.

    Good food

I recently visited this restaurant and I was impressed. Around this area there is a limited selection when it comes to food and this place is an exception. I had the wings and fries and left happy. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is clean. The waiter was friendly and I will def. be returning. They even deliver which is a plus.

    Sad excuse for southern cuisine

I'm originally from the south and this place wouldn't make it past the Mason Dixon Line. Good thing your in Brooklyn. I decided to check out the new place in the neighborhood and was quite disappointed. They start you out with dry warm cornbread. I ordered the over priced catfish poboy, what I got was a half of piece of fish with lettuce on a roll! Nothing like a poboy at all. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes for my 1 year old that I never received. The only good thing going for this place is that its a clean restaurant. Don't waste your time and money here.

    Welcome to the Neighborhood

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. My husband and I have enjoyed a few meals here. the peach cobbler is quite good as well as the cornbread of course!
