the coffee here is really good & so i force myself to endure the unfriendly, unaccommodating staff. at first i'd always say i only want a little bit of milk in my coffee, but i've given up bc no one listens & it does taste good even if it's lighter than i prefer. having switched to iced for summer, i have the same issue with ice. if i say i want just a little bit of ice, don't fill my cup with ice. yes, i could pour out some ice on my own, but i can't then get more coffee. the whole point of asking for not too much ice is that i want more coffee than ice. unfortunately, i will probably take my business elsewhere in the future.

Since I work in NYC, I'm pretty familiar with eating in delis. C&C is by far one of my favs and most definitely above average! Good variety of sandwiches on fresh bread, unique & tasty soups, crisp salads (and not those dirty salad bars found in other local delis), mocacchinos. Workers are clean & dressed properly, friendly atmosphere. Prices are more than fair and cheaper than I can get upstate.

sandwiches are extremely bland, salads are very average (if you can be VERY average, their salads are it). soups are not bad and they have a decent selection of sweets and drinks though. if this place weren't so convenient i would never dream of going back.

food (soup, salads, sandwiches) never disappoint and definitely reasonably priced for NYC. I get my morning coffee here & it beats the "expensive" joints!

Their sandwiches are amazing, the salads delicious, and they were prompt with their delivery. Loved them!!

The coffee here can be a hit or miss. I also thought the prices were a bit high for their salads.

I eat lunch here almost every day and always enjoy a great meal! Homemade soups, tossed salads are delicious and a great value for NYC. Staff always pleasant and place is clean.
