Food very good, pricey though
This is very good Indian food. It's definitely pricier than I'd pay on a weekly basis, but I really like it for once in a while. Plus it's the best atmosphere of many of the places in the area.

Too expensive. Food is not so tasty
I ordered the Shrimp briyani. It was not good and very expensive. Will not order from here again. Also I tried the lobster massala. It was not great - wasn't bad but I have had much better. Plus that was like $22.00. A bottle water was 3.00 and a coke was 3.00. Thats ridiculous! You can get better, indian food for a much better price and tastier as well.

Food is fine but not worth the price
Can't say I'm an Indian-food fan but this was way below value. Food was edible but not something I didn't taste before for 1/3 the price. Atmosphere and service was great (otherwise the price would seem really rediculous) but I can easily find this in other Rest' which also serves better food or lower prices..

Best Non-Vegetarian Curry in the Area!
I moved into "Curry Hill" about a year ago and I tried to find the best Indian place in the area. I tried at least 10 places, some which had great value but if I had to pick the place with the best flavor and taste and overall quality of food I would pick Copper Chimney. I don't like vegetarian places cause I am a meat eater but so this is void of the good vegetarian places. My only complaint is I wish the portions were bigger because the food is so good.

lunch hour experience
Went to copper chimney and made the mistake of ordering off the menu instead of just ordering the buffet. While my coworker finished his meal (he ordered the buffet) I was still waiting for my dish saag paneer to arrive (25 minutes later) it final came. To my disappointment it came without rice and I was told that if I wanted rice with it that it would be extra. This really felt like I was being nickeled and dimed to death me since everywhere I previously dined and order this dish rice has always been included. On a bright note the mango lassi was good just don't expect the serving size to be large. All in all with all the restaurants in the area this is not one I plan to go back to because of the service.

Good Quick Lunch Spot
$8.95 for lunch buffet is one of the best deals in town. They had a big [select]ion of food available for lunch. Everything was piping hot and was refilled as soon as the pot was getting close to being empty. The servers do a great job of making sure no pot runs out of food. They encourage you to try things and explain what the sauce is like if you're not familiar. I ate alone and although I'm comfortable with this, they went out of their way to stop by and ask me how things were and to see if I had any questions about the food. They had a variety of meat dishes, vege dishes, rice, potatoes and even a salad. The bathroom was clean too. I thought the manager (maybe owner) was really nice - just a nice atmosphere and good food. Oh and I almost forgot, they have the best hot flatbread I can find. They bring a small basket of it out to your table and it's so good I wanted to eat it all but sadly, I was stuffed from the buffet!
