go there, don't order
I ordered for delivery and despite being told the order would be here in 15-30, it took almost two hours. I called 2X and the restaurant was dismissive and curt, instead of being accommodating or apologetic. They are fine when you go there, but two hours for a delivery 3 blocks away is just ridiculous.

Best diner in the area
Coopertown is consistently good. Omelets and hashbrowns are yummy for breakfast and they have a great turkey dinner. French fries are always crunchy and well salted. I've ordered delivery tons of times and have always found the staff courteous on the phone and the delivery arrives quickly. Good neighborhood option.

Crazy to eat here
I've ordered and ate here plenty of times in the past. The prices have just become insane. The food is ok. Best thing is breakfast but for the price I'll order from somwhere cheaper or cook it better myself. Don't bother wasting your money.

Overpriced
This is the most overpriced diner in Manhattan. The food is OK. it costs over $8 for an egg sandwich. They also change their prices willy nillie. Once I ordered an egg sandwich w/ turkey and cheese, and they charged me $14 for it. Insane

Don't bother with delivery
OK. other reviewers are right. These people are better in person. What happens on the phone is an embarrassment. Oh, get real with the attitude and service people. Stay away from delivery problems here...too many other options in NYC. Thanks.

Breakfast Diliveries
I've been going to coopertown since I was born. It's the best diner that's near pvst. although the diliveries seem to be lacking lately. i order breakfast from coopertown all the time and the eggs havent been up to par as some other things. YOU CAN BE SAFE WITH THE FRENCH TOAST. The service is always good though. When I do order food, it comes right away. The people at coopertown are always friendly and always work with you on what you want to eat.
