All the Best..
I am in the NY hospitality biz for many years. Connolly's throughout the city have always been my favorite local. The staff are always friendly, food is great, drinks even better. The staff at this locale are awesome! Two words! Brendan Burger.

A NYC Experience
While we were in NYC for a shopping trip, we decided to stop by Connolly's on 54th St. The place was really tiny and seating was cramped, but other than that the place was really nice. It had a relaxed air to it, and I would make a great place for a couple of small family of three or four to have dinner at while visiting NYC. Our waitress was great, and she was Irish too! ....how about that. The food was great and the portions were huge. A basket of fries could be a meal in itself. The only downfall is that drinks are priced on a per glass basis. I had 3 glasses of coke while I was there and it was $9.00, and a cup of coffee is 1.50 per cup. I've never encountered something like that....but hey we were there to have fun so it was no big deal, I'd just hate to live in NY and have to pay those prices everyday. We're from WV so TGIF or Olive Garden is about as fancy as it gets, and those are more of a special occasstion places for most people around here. But anyway, I'll deff go back..but next time im not taking a group of 6 ppl.

Come for the drinks... not the food!
Connolly's is your run of the mill Irish pub with a great bar staff. The food is only ever sub-par with very slow service, especially at lunchtime. The only food that is worth getting is the appetizers and that's only if you have something good to wash it down with. The bartenders are great and it won't take long before you're considered a regular there. They almost always offer at least one free drink and all of them are straight off the boat with some worthwhile "coming to America" stories. All in all a mediocre place but hey if it's close by, it's definitely worth grabbing a drink or 10!

Nice, cozy pub
Connolly's is located near my workplace and I often go for lunch or afterwork drinks. Always a pleasant staff, always excellent food, good, strong drinks, and a nice, diverse crowd -- old, young, tourists, locals, and every culture you can think of. Highly recommend.
