Needs better waiters.
The waiters were very rude in the middle of lunch, they removed the teacups from the table as if we weren't planning to drink it. Service was not good, waiters aren't nice at all.

Worth consideration...
Apart from the food, what would be the most important thing in a restaurant? Answer: the restrooms! Cottage's restroom is one of the cleanest restroom that I've ever seen. During peak hour or peak season, late delivery is expected. But that's not a big deal. Try the hot and sour soup. Try the home special soup. I'm a soup-person...

What happened?
This used to be a go-to place. The food was consistently good and the delivery couldn't be faster. I'd hang up and five minutes later the food would be here. But not anymore. It took an hour for our food to arrive tonight (we live a few blocks away). We called twice to ask about the delay and were hung up on. And then when the food finally arrived...tasteless. A spicy dish wasn't spicy at all and a "sauteed" dish tasted boiled. Time to find a new place.

Fast, Fast - Good, Good
I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area, with lots of variety and authentic flavors. I especially like the Moo Shoo Pork, Shanghai Dumplings, Crispy Prawns with Walnuts, and the Sesame Chicken. The Noodle Soups are always a good bet if you're feeling under the weather. The delivery is amazingly fast.

Think Twice Before....
Eating any chinese food in the area. I agree that this might be the best in the area, but within two blocks there is Italian and Mexican that is better and cheaper. Good luck.

Solid Chinese Food
I've lived around Columbia for 4 years, and i think this is the best chinese food in the area, although it isn't the best area for chinese food. My only complaint is that sometimes there is too much greasy sauce, and the moo shu pork needs more pork...
