Okay so the food is fine, I takes for ever to get a seat and if your not "beautiful " be prepared to sit in the back which is where they put the older not so eye worthy folks. The basket fries are great and I love the sesame salad, but from now on I order my food, and eat it else where, there's no point in trying to reason with a bunch of pretentious model wannabe's.

Coffee shop in Union square is a one in a million kind of place. This is a great place to come when you are drunk at 3 am for some herb fries and a mohito or on a sat. around 2 pm when you are hung over and need a mimosa. The food is really good in a dinner kind of way, turkey burgers are amazing - very big. The eggs Florentine are soooo good... oh and the ice cappuccino is to die for. The hostess is always rude but this is coffee shop open 24 hours always crowded and they have a very cool young staff who are in the nyc trend... so no this is not your average coffee shop. Do not come if you are older or with kids - it is a young hang out.

The wait staff here is not only extremely slow but also not nice. The food is good but I've had better.

The waitstaff here are rude and forgetful. No wonder the staff has such a high turn-over. The manager is not even accomidating to the customers who may have a problem with something. The food is average, but there are so many more resaurants that have good food and good service that you could go to.

The food here is decent, but I don?t know if it?s worth the bad service. It?s the kind of place you should take tourists just so they can see what a pretentious NYC restaurant is like. I once ordered the soup special on the cusp between lunch and dinner. What I ordered was the lunch soup; what I got was the dinner soup. Not only did the waiter not tell me that the lunch soup was no longer being served (and he?s the one who told me what the specials were), he didn?t even ask me if I wanted to change my order. He just plopped it down in front of me. It was really almost laughable. I just ate it anyway, and figured this could be one of those stories I tell people when I tell them not to come here. On the plus side: You might get a table in less than 45 minutes (esp. for brunch) if you look like one of the beautiful people; the coconut butterfly shrimp is good; and there?s fun people watching. The wait staff provides some good eye candy too, which is why I?m guessing most people still come here.

this place is uber hip and not really my scene. however, the food was excellent. the vinagrette in my green salad was absolutely perfect. i am a picky eater and everything specailty that i requested was perfect. i had heard bad things about the service, but i found it to be impeccable. the waitress was attentive but not annoying. she was transparant when we did not request her presence. i would recommend dining here.

If you ask me the only reason to wait 45 minutes to sit crammed at a table and deal with the poor waitress service is the bok choy salad.. anything else can be ordered at a regular diner.
