Amazing food at Bargain prices!
Been eating here over 4+ years... great place to people watch and network! The daily specials are excellent. Since I'm a big fan of mojitos and caipirinhas and a tight wad, this place makes totally excellent drinks (in big glasses too) along with extremely reasonable beverage prices. The wait staff seems to change as often as the daily specials... Yummy and Fun! Cheers!

Wannabe Sceney
I used to go here a lot in college (especially late night), but now I seriously refuse to step foot in the place. It's so wannabe sceney it's annoying. And for such mediocre food, way overpriced. (I know it's still pretty cheap, but their food isn't good!) The service - poor. I've actually had to say to a waitress, "Excuse me, can you clear my plate please?" about 20 min after finishing my food. And trust me, I'm not bitter, I've always sat in the front :)

Always too busy and great food
The food from Coffee Shop is very good and not so expensive. The reason why service isn't great is because its always too busy. Sesame chicken salad is "off da hook" and the fries are bangin' . I think that there cheeseburger is one of the best in the city and the daily specials are all awesome. Coffee Shop is the best place to hang out, have a drink or two, listen to music, watch beautiful people, and eat very good food. Delivery sometimes takes to long, but is worth waiting for!

Ahhh
Well it was ok...I did wait on line forever to get a seat & I was seated in the very back of the restaurant, right in front of the kitchen door. Somebody said that's where they seat the "not-so-beautiful" people. The ambiance is almost club-like, definitely not a place to relax & eat. The food was pretty good, the herb fries were amazing, but I wouldn't go back.

Food That Does Not Cost an Arm
Went to the Coffee Shop for lunch and was satisfied. This is definitely not the place to go if you are looking for a gourmet meal, but the menu offers a decent variety of options that will not cost you a small fortune. Had the sesame chicken salad and chicken soup and was pretty happy. Although it was not the best in the world, it was good for the price. Atmosphere is much like a hip and trendy diner with dim lighting, but you certainly do not have to get dressed up. You can wear whatever you want and still feel comfortable. Service was not great, but then again, I was not really expecting much. The waitress brought the food which was all I could ask for. Have been there several times and will probably continue to go there for "low key eats". BTW, the brunch is pretty good...definitely check it out.

Good food, service completely underrated
I've been to coffee shop several times on numerous different occasions and have never had a problem with my service...what they say about the front section being reserved for 'pretty people' is absolutely true, as it's somewhat of a NY trend, and the host could front a little less attitude, but overall I'd definitely recommend checking it out at least once and think the notorious blows towards the waitstaff are a little over the top.

OK
Okay so the food is fine, I takes for ever to get a seat and if your not "beautiful " be prepared to sit in the back which is where they put the older not so eye worthy folks. The basket fries are great and I love the sesame salad, but from now on I order my food, and eat it else where, there's no point in trying to reason with a bunch of pretentious model wannabe's.
