Coffee Shop

I was actually surprised that the food was so delicious! We ordered 2 bottles of a great wine, but the server wasn't very knowledgeable about the food or the wine so we figured it out ourselves...she looked 12 and indifferent. Sit outside for the best affect. We will definitely go back again.

Whoever mentioned the sesame chick./bok choy salad was spot-on; It tastes amazing and i didn't have a problem with the price. but the night started off salty when the bouncer took eons staring at my id to decide whether or not he was going to let me in. I wasn't planning on drinking (as i don't) and am well over 21, but the skeptical way he was eyeballing my card made me think he was planning on confiscating it. Thank god he conferred with the other dude working the door (who immediately verified it), otherwise i would have been up the creek. The waitress was smart-alecky. i wonder if it was because the 17.5% gratuity was in effect and she could get away with it. She was so snippy with our orders that i forgot to request a beverage and then she was nowhere to be found once i realized that. my friend had the seafood stew and ate a few spoonfuls of it before realizing it was not good, so she asked the waitress to send it back. She and the waitress got into it and when my friend talked to the manager, he was unaccomodating, saying that she had eaten "too much" of it to send back. we walked out feeling like the food wasn't worth any of the drama and don't plan on coming back.

I happen to like this place. It's a much better version than your regular diner, it's better. Don't compare this joint to a foodie joint because you will surely be disapointed. However if you just want to kick back with a place that serves mojitos alongside with your burger and fries, this is the place to be. Besides whoever said coffeeshops were known for their waitresses? Only Coffeeshop..

I would have to say that I enjoyed the overall experience at the Coffee Shop because it is not too expensive but still has a pretty unique feel to it. The hostess seemed annoyed by our party of 8 and the manager was just flatout rude. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ordered but it is tough to leave with a good feeling about a place after it takes 30 minutes to get your check and we could not find our waitress for a good hour either.

Go for late lunch/early dinner and you'll be treated well...even if you're over age 40. Good food, mild prices, and friendly waitstaff. Be sure to check out the daily specials.

Overpriced and poor service.

Went to coffee shop for the first time tonight and had a nice time. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the ample seating. Will definitely return!
