Cocotte has got to be the definition of a perfect little French dining experience. First of all, the tiny place is undeniably romantic: dim lighting, lovely little candles lighting up the dark. You could definitely surprise your girlfriend (or boyfriend) with a ring in a place like this. The service is also delightful: our dimpled, very French waitress was informative (now I understand the difference between cod and hake) and attentive. And the food was delicious: the duck rillettes, the pork cheeks, the hake with chorizo, the salad of lentilles de puy. Plus, thanks to the small size of the restaurant, it is mercifully quiet. Highly recommended!

This is a great little spot that opened up with a cool and relaxed ambiance playing songs from classic crooners. I've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is delicious, especially the pork cheek. The service is always excellent. First time I tried Txakoli and I order it every time I visit.

We were kindly seated and were given an hour. But after 20 min in, we were handed the check and it was suggested we finish paying. It was small tapas style and we only got around to ordering one round. The dishes were quickly taken away before we finished.

Had dinner with two other friends for the first time and was surprised at how tiny the spot was but cozy and warm. Started with the lentil appetizer, which was flavorful and delicious. Stuffed mushroom dish was pretty small and they really shrank those guys down! Followed by the stuffed squid, which has some bacon and other things inside and last we had the cod with mashed potatoes which was my favorite dish of the evening. Ordered a carafe of wine and when we stayed longer even after the meal and drinks were finished ,the server was generous enough to give us a complimentary refill. Will definitely return.
