Coco Roco is my new and most FAVORITE place to order take out. I always order the Parihuela, and a side of Yuca. they deliver until 10 30 PM. the food is always hot, and tastes as if it was made "homestyle" just for me. try it. I promise you wont be disappointed!!

The waitress was spacy but the busboy remembered to bring us our check, thankfully. The mojito was awful, the food was delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the spinach mashed potatoes -- they are to die for. The maduros are perfectly sweet and not oily, and the lamb with fries and rice was great.

Normally I go to Mancora for Peruvian, but I saw something on the brunch menu that tempted my tummy so I decided to give the place a try. When I went in a 10 til 5pm, the waiter told me I could not order brunch. I was very tempted to get up and leave, but decided to stay. I ordered the potato crusted mahi with tacu tacu sauce. It was good, filling and fresh. The manager was very friendly, but I never knew who my waiter was. The person I thought was my waiter was serving drinks at the bar and then ate a half of chicken at the bar, so I waited for my plate to be cleared well after I had eaten. He never came to see if things were okay and another waiter saw my frustration and took my plate and dessert order. I ended up personally handing him the tip in the end. I did enjoy the atmosphere and it was a great open space. I may give them place another try for brunch because I still want to try that brunch item. If they don't redeem themselves, I am out of there.

The service seems to always be bad when I go, which is why I don't go often. The food is good. They have good lunch specials - pretty cheap. Don't go if you're in a rush because no matter how simple a dish you order, it's a long wait. It's a pretty restaurant, though. Kid friendly.

The food was less than mediocre and the environment was for yuppies. It didn't give me the peruvian restaurant mom and pop type of feel. Even the desserts were crummy. How do you mess up arroz con leche? The servers were nice, but I was hungry and I don't care about service when I'm hungry and I recieve food that is substandard.

I found the overall experience at coco roco to be amazing. I went to the coco roco on smith street and thought it was better food-wise and service-wise than the park slope coco roco. Also the restaurant itself is a nicer place. The waitstaff were well informed and attentive, the food took about 15 minutes to come out, and I didn't fine it slow at all. The food is also excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant. Also, if you're interested in take out you should go in and pick it up and take a look around. This is a great spot for a cheap night out. They also do parties.

I've been to both CoCo's and their food is fabulous. However, I cannot say the same for the service. At both spots, the wait staff is extremely slow, especially when it's slow...go figure. Other times, the orders were taken incorrectly. Your best bet is take out or delivery. You won't be let down by the food. The steak is grilled perfectly; the salmon sashimi is to die for; the spaghetti rocks and the sandwiches are killer. The brunch is a bargain.
