it used to be much better

sad to say but coco roco is not nearly as good as it used to be. the chicken is still fresh and tasty, but the sides are not as good....it seems they lost site of the basics. coco roco is good, but no longer great. and the prices are much higher than they used to be.

    Excellent Value

We order rotisserie chicken for dinner (delivered), and it is excellent juicy, good flavor, and it comes with Coco Roco fries and a small salad. The quality and amount of the food is great and the price is so affordable compared to many other options for take-out. The delivery service is almost always prompt. We probably order from Coco Roco at least once a week, and we've got no complaints and a lotta luv for the chicken. We've never eaten in the restaurant, so can not comment on the atmosphere, but we give food and value two thumbs up.

    Not Bad

This was my first experience at a Peruvian restaurant and I thought the food was great. It is better than the Japanese/Peruvian fusion up in the Slope. I brought my boyfriend and his parents with me- who happen to be Peruvian, born and raised. They gave it a thumbs up for the ceviche, especially. I have mixed feelings of Peruvian food in general, but I finished my plate. Service was great, and they accommodated my boyfriend's birthday by surprising him with a little cake!

Best lunch value for inspired sandwiches

I enjoy having the peruvian sandwiches delivered . My favorite is the pan con pollo, a yumy mix of chicken avacado, jalepeno mayonaise, and this awazing bread. hey are so inexpensive (some start at $4.50) and yet they taste totally gourmet and original. A definate change from your regular deli sub. Check this one out. Plus, they offer 2 different kinds of plaintains on the menu.

    BK goes Peruvian

The food is everything you want it to be and more. I go weeks without it and one day I will be sitting at my desk and think - "Oh my God, I haven't eaten Coco Roco in weeks" and HAVE to order it! That's a good sign of a place that has made it's mark. Delivery is great during the week when you get home late from work - great deal with the Family Meal. In house service is great - kid-friendly and sweet. I have read other reviews and do not agree - maybe I was lucky and cute! -theBKdiner.com

Do yourself a favor and order it to go

The lunch specials are out of this world, but the service is awful. I've been there when it was practically empty, but still the service was so slow/non-existant, I walked out. The to-go service is fine, as long as you can pick it up.
