what an outrageous rip off
Was here last night with a large group and atmosphere is great but food is sooooo intensely salty I feel sick today. And the tab for dinner was ridiculous! Will never go back there. Only truly delicious thing was lobster cappuchino or whatever they call it there. So many better places in NYC. Watch your wallet if you go here. Will leave much lighter.

A Mess
They just don't have it together- went with two clients staying in the hotel where Co op is housed- had an 8:15 reservation, by 9 they still didn't have a table- they gave us drink tickets as a peace offering. Crowded. I sometimes read reciews and wonder if the diners were not well-accommodated because they were not attractive or hip- I have to say my Parisian friends and I have movie-star looks. And are nice (to start off). They showed us eventually to a little four-seat corner sushi bar. The noise was deafening, the prices high and populated by diners in sexy black dresses who were born after 1990, (not that there's anything wrong with that, just sayin') Some of the food and service was good, never excellent. Unusually, a place to see and be seen in a redone passe' venue. Not returning.

Great Experience!
This was not just a meal but a true dining experience. Food was A+ and the menu was diverse--something to please all taste buds here. Ambiance was wonderful. Good music that picks up later in the night. Really tasteful spot with a wonderful design. Service was spot-on and the dessert was to die for! Home made ice-cream sandwiches with all different types of home made cookies were a must try!

Great chef!
Really into the chef combining styles of Asian with Pan-American cuisine to make a delicious dinner and lunch! Really digging the location, too!

Great Expectations
I was invited to the Co-Op by a friend of mine. There were 7 of us; we waited about 1/2 hour for our table on a Thursday night. My friend is sorta famous and as a plus knows the owner so we were absolutely given VIP treatment which was nice. the food was delicious, fresh and well prepared. I have never tasted asian fusion that was so delicious. I highly recommend this place! The Rivington Roll, Lobster Shots, Sliders, Mac & Cheese, Watermelon & Feta salad and not to mention the Chicken Lollipops were all dishes I tasted and they were eye rollingly (is that a word?) orgasmic creations! Go - you won't be disappointed. It's a young hip crowd and noisy atmosphere, but well worth it!!
