Very poor Service
Just came back from this restaurant and although the food was very good the service was not good at all. When the waitress brought drinks to our table she set them down randomly and when we informed her who the drinks belonged to she simply said "I'm just bringing the drinks, I don't know who they go to". When we finally received our food one of the burgers that was ordered medium came back medium rare (completely red center), it was sent back. After 15 minutes of waiting the burger is delivered basically charred. Would never go back to this place again.

Impressive for a Kosher Establishment
I give it a 10 for being the first kosher restauraunt to achieve a strong resemblance to a non kosher lounge/bar although crowded the ambiance is a dark and soothing one, too loud for an intimate conversation yet fun to go out with a couple of friends. I had the sliders yes $8.50 for 3 tiny burgers is pricey but hey you got to live a little and they were pretty darn good. For the main dish i had a prime rib sandwhich and the tender meat together with the tangy sauce proved to be quite filling but hey there is always room for dessert so i ordered 2 the apple pie wasnt that great but the hot chocoalate cake hit the spot although i dont believe in ordering dairy like desserts in meat restauraunts but it was truthfully not bad for parve. on a scale from 1-10 my overall expereince her was 6

Great Date Place
I went there last night with my husband and LOVED it. It's the first kosher restaurant I've ever been to that had a young, classy, cool ambiance. Yes the tables are on top of each other, it was loud, very dark, good music, I loved it! Compared to every other similarly priced midtown kosher option, this is the most fun. Not a place to bring children or your parents. Definitely a place you can bring non-Jewish/kosher friends and family without being embarrassed. The complimentary olive bread (with olive oil) was the best bread I ever got at a restaurant. Waiter was funny, told us half the menu was terrible. We ordered the chili, VERY spicy, but good and the veal, which was salty but good. Not huge portions, but a lot of meat on them. Definitely would go again when I have a babysitter.

Never Again
It was a hot day and the restaurant was very warm (3 hours after opening). The chicken wing appetizer was tasty - though 3 wings for $8.50 is a bit pricey. The French Dip had a limited amount of meat and it was more like a brisket sandwich than a French Dip. When we asked about dipping liquid, we were told that they didn't give any - it was already included in the sandwich. The burgers were okay, but greasy - sitting in a pool of grease on the lettuce leaf it came with. The fries were great - though not a reason to come to this restaurant!

Inferior Food, Crammed
The sliders were dry and served on cookie cut out Arnold rolls and the prime rib sandwich was grey and overdone. The tables are situated on top of one another and the restaurant is very noisy. Our waiter was apologetic about the buns on the sliders and the dryness of them but he was also slow in bringing out the food. I would not return.

A Great Deal!
The food was good, the decor and vibe were good and the service was fine. For a quality kosher place in NYC, this place is great. I was shocked to see other reviews complaining about pricing. Aside from the soda at $4.50 (although those glass antique bottles do cost a lot more than a can) everything else is worth it. I think this place is priced cheaper than most comparable NON kosher restaurants. The going rate in NYC for a cocktail in a nice restaurant is probably about $11- but here its only $9. They are paying times sqaure rents and are closed Fridays and Saturdays- Give them a Break & stop being so cheap!

Good food, great ambiance, skip dessert
Had dinner last night: the hamburger was very good, the fries were DE-LICIOUS!! Not a bad deal for $13. My friend had a chicken avocado sandwich and said it was just okay. Saw that the guy next to us got a steak - very skimpy portion of meat for $18. Drinks were great - though at $9 a pop they really add up!!! By recommendation from our waiter, we shared the Chocolate Salami - our mouths dropped open when we were brought TWO slices of wafer and chocolate and a teaspoon size scoop of ice cream - for a mere $9!! Tasted like parve wafers in parve chocolate. Yuck. Waiters were really great atmosphere is sexy - dark with trance-like music - not your typical kosher ambiance. I'd go back and get the hamburger again - and I now know to pass on dessert.
