    What in the world!!

Okay, so I love this place there are a few things wrong with the picture though. The food is awesome, but as far as service goes they need improvements. First we ordered delivery before during lunch they delivered and took credit cards, the next week the refused delivery because we were on the southside of delancey (I can understand the traffic there is insane delancey and allen). So next, today we were going to pick up lunch, but now they only take credit cards at dinner, is the credit card machine on the time clock? The food is awesome but not worth the lack in service.

Hostess and bartender ruined it all

I know it's a very popular place, but it would be appreciated if the hostess and bartender treated their customers better. One customer cut us in line and instead of mediating the situation, she told us to "battle it out ourselves". We decided not to make a stink and put ourselves back on the waiting list. While waiting for our table, we tried to order two lattes behind the counter. The guy behind the counter was too busy to deal with us. We ended up waiting for more than 10 minutes. The hostess saw all this and didn't try to help. Worse, another customer came up later to ask for coffee and was served immediately. I was so upset at the way we were treated that I walked out of the restaurant. The food is good, but is not worth the wait and not worth putting up with the customer service.

    Definately not worth the wait

Some of the dishes were good but some were just average...however I wouldn't wait more than 20 mins to eat here. The french toast was by far the best dish I had...I was not impressed with the spanish scramble or waffles. The pancakes looked good but we did not try that....

    Fanastic Brunch Experience

I've frequented this place often for brunch. I would recommend having a smaller party of 2-3 people rather than bringing a group of people. Because space is tight...I wouldn't recommend this place if you want to have hour long conversations. Beware of long wait times, especially on the weekends!

    Just Great

I don't understand how this place has gotten any negative reviews. I eat here regluarly and not once have I had a bad experience. A price change from day to evening is to be expected at any restaurant. At Clinton Street, however, it is a relatively minimal increase. Always attentive service and nice portions of quality, feel-good food.

    Mmm cheese grits

This place is always good. Everything is super fresh and of high quality. The only complaint is the wait on the weekends. But the food is always spot on.
